Really? That sounds like it is extremely fragile then, that reminds me of how medicom use to be. :lol

It's not really that fragile at all IMO. I don't think it's any more fragile than any other figure. The only parts that stand out to me as being potentially fragile are the fingers, and the head sculpt as it has hoses/rods attached to it, so if you turn it too far to the left or right, it'll break, but it mentions this in the instructions. Otherwise, it's fairly solid. Just don't handle it like a retard and you won't break it lol.

Well... 2mm is not worth mentioning, so it is basically 18 inches, however, sideshow states that is 18.5 inches tall. So half an inch is a massive difference for this scale.

Yeah, when I first measure it, I measured on the stand while it was posed, so it wasn't an accurate measurement. As the legs were bent, it came in a fair bit under 18 inches.

I think the 18.5 is just a standard number used for 1/4 scale figures. 1/6 scale figures are sometimes referred to as 12 inch figures, but none of my 1/6 figures are exactly 12 inches. Some are over, some are under.

Well that is good to here, especially since they give u instructions to prevent you from posing it the wrong way. I remember people talked about how just touching a medicom figure it would break. :horror

Makes sense, oh well we will just have to wait and see then.

Yeah it's pretty solid man, given that the large parts are die cast. I've put mine in all sorts of poses with no problems.

Medicom...lol. My first figure was a Medicom, years ago. It was the Raiden figure from Metal Gear Solid 4. I went to remove the hand so I could replace with one of the other included ones, and it just broke, lol. I got the Snake figure as well, also from MGS4, and it didn't even come with hands. The figure had a rubber suit, so the hands were just part of the suit, lol. Squishy, rubbery hands, that couldn't hold the included knife as it was thin as paper. Headsculpts looked like they were painted by a 10 year old in art class, no detail at all. Horrible figures. Never touched anything from Medicom again.

Oh wow cool, so is it heavy then? Does it feel like you own a machine instead of a cheap plastic toy?

Yeah they were pretty bad but they have gotten better.

I would like to get a Spiderman. But I'm gonna wait till they make the Spiderman 2. I like the look of that suit alot better.

I agree. The eyes alone look a lot better. I'd be tempted to get that too just for that classic look of Spidey, but I'm hesitant because I don't really like the new Spiderman. Don't know if it was intended or not, but Andrew Garfield really plays him like a pompous, self-centered punk. Not really a fan of the "character" this time around.

Wow I thought I was the only one that thought that. Nevertheless, Tobey Maguire sucked to. I thought Garfield was actually going to be the definitive Spiderman since he said it was his dream as a kid to pay him and read the comics (unlike Tobey). Boy was I let down. :thud:

Whats wrong with the spiderman? He looks awesome, and seems to be coming with a great Andrew Garfield head sculpt.

plenty for the huge amount of delay at least from judging by the one pic we've got so far. Looks like they didn't change the eye lenses, didn't fix the red part that goes below the waist and looks like the neck was change back to the way it was in the teaser which isn't accurate. With about a year delay, those things should've been fixed

None of the movie Spideys were good. Not once have I ever seen a Spider-man that was accurate to the comics on the big screen :dunno

Well I actually liked the first two movies but not Tobey as Spiderman, but I agree with what you said and that's what I thought Garfield would do but he didn't.

I also liked the movies, but they weren't like the comics.
I honestly thought ASM would be better from the previews. This new one coming out has Rhino (my favorite villain), I hope they don't ruin him

I actually hope that HT makes a 2.0 of the Tobey red suit Spider-man. With better colors and an unmasked head or possibly a battle damaged one from the final fight in the first movie

Before we start getting off topic, I just want to say I'm glad that I will be able to have a Batman figure that I don't have to mod for it to look good (I'm afraid of doing something horribly wrong which is why I don't mod my figures).

Love that gift even though I hate Tobey's portrayal of Spiderman. :rotfl

Yes it is but I agree, there is nothing worse than modding figures. Especially when they are so expensive to begin with. :yess:
