Are you talking about SSC? If so, the NRD doesn't charge unless your waitlist converts. It's free to go on the waitlist. I've been on the waitlist for the EX as well as BD T-800 for a while now and I haven't been charged any NRD yet.

Yeah, do a Live Chat just to be safe, but I had the same concern a while ago. Before you place the order, there's a box in red that says an NRD is due but I remember just checking the box anyways and they have never charged me unless my order became a live order. Then they charge me before charging the entire sum just so I won't cancel after the 24-48hr notice they gave me. But since they aren't even open yet over on the west coast, you can always place the order to hold your spot and contact them in a few hours or play it safe and just wait a bit. Unless they changed they're policy of which I wouldn't be aware of.

I would only go on the waitlist for the EX, if you want it. If you're planning to go on the waitlist for the standard it'll be cheaper to buy from Popcultcha.

I don't even think they have the waitlist for the regular one anymore. When I do a search, only the EX version pops up. You do get $24 back in reward points. I wonder how much the shipping is compared to BBTS... I can go $430 with BBTS + whatever their shipping is or go with $470 with a bonus cowl + whatever shipping is on SSC minus $24 for reward points which might cover the shipping entirely...

R u sure? It says its due today, maybe it is a mistake then.
The NRD will be charged only when it becomes a live order. They will not charge if its still waitlist status.

Not a guarantee, hence they don't charge you anything to be put on it.

I think it was when the SDCC photos were released. When I saw those, I immediately wanted one because it looked beautiful. That was back in mid-July when I placed my order for the waitlist. A week before I did, it was still available for FLEXplan.

I don't think people were that bothered about this until everyone saw the recent photos from the cons. The pre-order amount must have sky rocketed over the past 2 months
