A-Ha! See! There is an angry faceplate! I don't know about you guys, but I'm now 150% in! Courtesy of Jun Teo on One Sixth Republic:
First time I've seen this.

Heh.
"IT'S NOT CHEESY!!!!! people today are just cynical and too ******ing serious."
Honestly, though, HT should really start thinking of doing accessory packs, as there isn't even room for a 2.0 of this, IMO. Maybe you could say. "Well, he needs a mesh undersuit, but, outside of that, this is probably the most accurate TDK Batman body in any scale, plus they've included great headsculpts and accessories. Point being, if they ever want to revisit this in 1/4 scale, they're pretty much S.O(O?).L. The upgrades would be so marginal that it just wouldn't be worth it. Point being, the clearest area for improvement is the cowl. They'd probably be able to find more buyers if they revisited it as an "accessory pack" with the same cowls (PERS, mouth size, LEDs, etc.), but modified to be more accurate and proportional, along with a few extra mouth plates, and some "accessory" that folks didn't know they needed (Two-Face coin and some TDKR "buckleless" gloves?) than if they tried to sell a new figure for the same price or higher with marginal upgrades.

Yep, I'm waitlisted, and I want this guy real bad. I'm really hoping the Wayne head turns out great, though, because, honestly, while I want the "definitive" Nolan Batman figure, I just think that this figure looks fun as hell. Seriously, there are just so many goodies and such that, if I had him on display, I'd probably be changing him up once a month, just to use it all.

That's a great idea, especially if you only have one unit to display. Afterall, changing accessories, poses, heads is what's fun with figures, and that's what would set QS001 apart from any TDK Batman 1/4 statues out there (is there any?).
I really hope you get your QS001, bro!
Thanks for posting this! I really love what I'm seeing. So HT added another faceplate? I hope it's not a trade off against the Wayne sculpt. anyway, I like the clenched-teeth faceplate better now than either the proto and DX12, it's much more intense and life-like. The other faceplate reminds me of one from the Batman Begins suit HT.
Looks pretty good. But still surprising to see 75% open mouths.
Can't wait to see the Bruce Wayne Headsculpt. Surely it's been revised.
This is looking better and better. I want to see what those mouths look like on the cowl.
Too bad I didn't PO this one. I see it's no longer for sale....anywhere.
As campy as it was, I LOVED that movie growing up!!! I would totally get a HT Dolph Lundgren He-Man and Frank Langella Skeletor if they ever made one. Even Meg Foster's Evil Lynn, she was hot back then! Those eyes!!
Thanks for the video!
It sure looks like four faceplates. They're treating this dude better than Robocop (four faceplates AND an unmasked headsculpt). That being said, I think the 6 million dollar question on everyone's minds is "what does Bruce Wayne look like?" right now.
That's what I was worried about, but I don't see that being the case. Mainly because it would totally negate the demand for an exclusive. Who the **** wants an empty Batman cowl when they don't even have a Bruce Wayne head to hold it?
Too bad I didn't PO this one. I see it's no longer for sale....anywhere.
I dunno bud. It's like HT giving superman a villain with an expression that, while nice looking, can't be displayed together because of the heroes neutral expression.
You do have a point though. But at 2-3 exhibits and still a no show...I'm worried.
I get your point, but have HT ever removed something that important from a figure before? I've heard of them adding an extra head, but never removing one, especially when, technically, it's the only "full" headsculpt in the set. Plus, I hardly see how an extra faceplate equates to a full-on Bruce Wayne head, and I don't know what else they could possibly pack in to even it out. I'll just say this, my friend: "patience is a virtue." The odds are that we'll find out whether he's got it or not before this guy is even close to shipping, so that's plenty of time.
