What's your opinion on the cowl of this figure? You don't think it looks as good as EBs?
I'd say this figure is fantastic, but judging by the cowl sculpt only, I think EB has better likeness. As for the bale sculpt, I choose HT more than Eb. The chin area of the sculpt need to be fixed, but stil, this might be the best bale sculpt for me :wave
I never thought of that; could be a possibility, I suppose.

I don't know; I'd say that these faceplates are just as good as EB's, if not better (4 faceplates means more room to screw up, and seeing as they nailed the likeness on all of them, I'd give them some props :lol), and their Wayne head is far superior, IMO. There were a few less than stellar shots, but, seeing it on video, they did a phenomenal job. I'd say they're very capable of making the definitive Begins figure, after seeing what they accomplished with TDK/R.
I agree, never liked eb bale sculpt.:hi5:
I'll soon give my thought on overall figure. Just 2 more days for me :yess:

People seem to forget how the EB Bale sculpt was BLASTED by a huge majority of people- go read the EB Bats thread starting when it came out.
I defended it at the time- still do. However the HT Bale sculpt is every bit as good if not better.

In the end, the scale issues don't matter to me since I don't buy EB products and I won't until they get a proper reliable distributor with actual customer service.

I know you are in Canada, but whenever I get EB products, I deal with bbts. It took two tries to get a perfect BB Bats, but they handled that right.

Man, some people just have a lot of money. I went to the store that gets first stocks from Hong Kong, and the few they got yesterday, including the one that was supposed to be displayed went sold out fast, and those units had a $250 mark up on its tags!

I was really looking forward to seeing this on display. LOL

Wait if CeeemOr measured EB batman at 19.5 inches that puts Bale at 6.5feet. You have to measure at bare feet height starting point to top of head. Not the entire figure. Take off a little for soles of the boots.

Anyway, Im glad HTs isn't same size so hopefully they make BB suit and joker that's far superior to EBs. I like EB batman but I think HTs could do better.

I think EB's Bats is too tall. Just like their MIB 1/6 figures are too tall. You are right scaling the size should not include the ears(which BB suit has longer ones)

EB scale seems right on the money.

Bale is 6ft, 1/4 of 6ft is 1.5 which equals 18inch there abouts=45cm. The EB bats from tip of ears to the bottom of his boots is 53cm so if you take off the the ears and soles of the boot there is Bale give or take a few cm's

Not sure if thats correct or not was always crap at maths :rotfl

Yeah bale is 6' probably had 2" soles to make him 6'2" then how ever big the cowel/ears added to the height.

I think enterbay got the scale correct. I don't think hot toys cares at this point they make better money at. 1:6 anyway, probably pump them out much faster, I doubt hot toys will do a 1/4 begins and joker :( probably take a very long time to receive if they did.

Correct. Bale in BB suit to tip of ears was 6' 5". So figure should be 19.25". Which I believe it is. Never measured mine as I really couldn't care less. Lol.

If HT version was only 17" or something like that, then if be pi$$ed its not as advertised scale wise, but I'd still get it. Lol

Yeah pointless stupid argument- get it if you want or not. Both figures are terrific!

Exactly!!!! If only more folk thought like us and a select other few!!

People make simple things so hard, then just winge and whine about it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you're not at least 95% about something and silly little things niggle you, then don't buy it!! Simple.

But don't then put post after post about why you're disappointed, who are you trying to convince?? Plus, we don't care! Lol.

I can't be disappointed with something I haven't tangibly seen or felt. No pics are gonna put me off. I'm not saying I won't be disappointed when its in hand.... But I highly bloody doubt it!!!

Yeah if eb is 19.25 and hot toys is 18.?? Then in theory they could look good together, either way I'm still getting it and ill put him on a pedestal or something.

Another like minded thinker! That is the correct way to look at it my friend. :hi5:

Haha, well I don't want to judge by pics either, cameras tend to distort and make things look worse then what they really are, I'm sure at the end of the day both these figures will jaw drop!:hi5:
