Super Freak
Finally got to unbox this properly and it's too awesome for words. Apart from what I mentioned earlier, no major defects that I've noticed so far but I did not go over the figure with a fine tooth comb. Won't really get a chance to mess with it properly until the weekend as I'm just too busy during the week with work, but I really like what I've seen so far. Can't wait to see what's next in the QS line.
Some things I've noticed:
- Body has ratchet joints. I guess those of you who own Enterbay figures will be familiar with this, but this is a first for me. Found it a little harder to pose than a 1/6 figure, feels kinda clunky, but I'll get the hang of it once I have a bit more time to mess with it
- on the chest, the carbon fiber looking bit, the left side is a little bit glossy, whereas the right side looks matte. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. It's really only noticeable if you shine a light directly in front, but if the figure is lit from above you can't tell.
- The cape. I never even took the stock cape out of the wrapper on my DX12, but as I have no custom cape for this yet (waiting to see what Tony comes up with), I had no choice but to use the stock sh-t. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to attach the damn thing! The instructions were useless. I gave up and went for the HK jump scene look instead lol. If anyone can please tell me how to attach the cape, I'd greatly appreciate it.
- He looks kind of fat in the stomach area. I was trying to give him a bit of an ab crunch pose, but no joy. Pretty sure he has a bit of ab crunch going on in the SDCC pics, so I know it's possible, I may just be doing something wrong.
Didn't bother taking pics as there's been plenty uploaded already from people with decent cameras and photography skills, and I only have a phone for a camera.
