I made up my mind to stick to 1/6th, but i was close to choosing this as it's brilliant looking, but not for more than $400 or $450 pure absolute max.

Pricing further made my decision the best for me.

Congrats to those getting it, i'm sure it'll be amazing

I deal with prices like this all the time.
And I totally understand why this is so much money. Since it's an articulated figure with joints and multiple accessories, head sculpts and crafted suit and cape (as opposed to sculpted stuff), it's no surprise at the price.

Welcome to the big leagues 1/6 collectors

But I guarantee you , you will have one hell of a WOW factor piece in your collection among the little guys.

And people, although the sculpt and cowl need to be adjusted a bit, for me it doesn't have to look 100% perfection like BALE under the cowl. It's still DAMN cool and it's still BATMAN after all. Still looks amazing...for a 1/4 scale figure.

Yes, 1/4 is more expensive, although 1/6 is steadily moving up to those ranks.

IMO, this is a "reasonable" price for such detail at this scale. The EB Batman Begins is only $20 less for a much less detailed costume (from what I can tell). If I had the scratch and the space, I'd definitely order this HT one. Unfortunately, my budget and display shelves are not meant for this scale.

Yes! These will just have so much presence in a room, those who have the EB T 800 know what I'm talking about
$400 plus for 1/4 figure is not bad at all when you look at prices of 1/6 these days- creeping towards $300...

good thing I'm not interested in getting this. As cool as it would be to get a 1/4 Batman figure, the sculpt on the masked cowl is not perfect enough to warrent a purchase. Luckily the details are smaller on a 1/6 scale that I can live with it

Passed on the 1/6th scale and got this one instead.

Couldn't resist.

I think I'm gonna retire at the end of 2012. Thank god for flex pay, but I can't keep up with these prices for much longer.

Ughh. I had totally convinced myself that I'd pull the trigger for $400. Now at $500 its going to have to be something I wrestle with. I never would think I'd spend $500 on one freaking figure. But with Flex Pay it's only $70 a month and doesn't start till after the Dec onslaught. Hmmm

No chance I'm getting this at that price with that cowl and headsculpt

It looks a great figure but the pink around the eyes, sadly doesn't wash out the further you're away from it. It seems to stick out even more in the long distant shots.

I'll pre-order it. The pros outweigh the cons for me, and I'll be campaigning hard for HT to correct those cons. I'm worried about shipping, but I'm not surprised by the price, as this guy's pretty loaded.

this will hopefully be my last dark knight figure, maybe catwoman and dx12, but the proto of catwoman seen so far make it a pass,
i wanna quit HT by finishing the 3 lines i started Ironman, terminator and Nolans batman
