I take it you two aren't too familiar with Adam, then? He stopped doing custom work a while ago. If you want something like that, you'll have to commission it as a one-off, and them's the big bucks.

I sometimes forget that you've only been here for a short while. You're a cool dude, Yankee; you've really got that "Freak spirit" (in a good way).:lol

At any rate, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who can do a better job of representing any of the characters in the Nolan Trilogy, but, all I'm saying is, if that's the route you want to go, you may want to take out some life insurance on your least favorite relative, as you're going to need it.:lol

Thanks, man. :duff Judging by my post frequency, I have too much of that Freak spirit. :lol But what can I say? I really, REALLY like this place.

If someone told me five years ago I'd be ready and willing to shell out $300+ for ONE figure, I would've told them they were crazy. Hopefully I'm not in too deep already. :lol I can't afford to get into custom work, no matter how nice it is.

You and me both, brother. I have one custom (hopefully one more pretty soon), but that stuff's even above my limit. If you got it, more power to you; I wish I was in the same boat, but, yeah, $200-$300 is pretty much my max with a few exceptions.

I used to think customs cost $1000.... but found that some are around $500, which made me consider. That price difference makes me forget that it's still pretty damn high for one figure.

I think what helps sell customs...other than the tremendous sculpts for licenses the big companies refuse to or are unwilling to touch...is the sense of exclusivity. That there are only several hundred, if that, of these in the world as opposed to the thousands of, say, HT.

I think there are some people that collect for those reasons. I look at the potential exclusivity as a "pro," but it's certainly not the only reason for it. The biggest reason is just who the characters are, and what the level of quality. The fact that I could get a character like Blondie or Dirty Harry for only a bit more than some HT figures and at a comparable, and, possibly, better quality. I appreciated them that much more when I learned that the same folks who worked on the prototype work on the one you get. It's the equivalent of getting a Hot Toys figure hand painted by JC Hong.

Yeah, that Blondie and Harry are aces. Doesn't Blondie fetch top dollar now? I can't imagine a time he'd be going for anything less than $400. :lol

I think the highest I ever saw was $3K right before that trio set with Tuco and Angel Eyes came out. He was $610 for the DX when he came out, and, I believe $450 for the regular set. I had to part ways with my Keaton and Jack figures to fund him, but I don't regret it. The prices on the secondary market are nothing compared to what I'd have to pay for him.:lol

I have to say the Enterbay bats is much better than what HT provided. I really wish that HT would make a 1/4 joker and BB suit.

It has some elements which are a lot lot better than HT. However, the quality is missing. Some very misshapen and shiny cowls out there.

Totally agree, the enterbay batman looks so real it's without a doubt the most accurate looking batman to date

I like them in the museum poses. Still looking for a decent display box for them

Yeah I love the BB suit more than TDK. But I really can't stand how the cape fasteners look so bulky on the BB suit. Do you have EB Joker posed with them, creasy?
