Well the Joker body is too long, weirdly proportioned and bow legged.
And it's very hard to make it not look ********.

I haven't heard the same about the BD T800 which looks amazing (I didn't pick it up) But I guess you just want him to stand up right?

I have the T 800 BD and i really love it :)

Awesome! Love the quality of your photos.

So how does the Hot Toys 1/4 scale body compare to 1.4 scale EB bodies? Is it easier to pose?

Much easier.

Really? How much of a difference did you see?

Like maybe 1 cm. From photos posted on OSR's facebook page.

Never knew you owned any statues, what statues do you have Drac? I would buy statues if they looked as realistic as these figures do but they don't. :slap

Don't own many but I plan on expanding my statue collection. I'm currently looking at the SW mythos line. Expensive but the Vader statue looks amazing. Yeah, I also think these figures are more realistic. Another reason why I prefer figures. I own the Kotobukiya Batman ArtFX and some statues from games, most of them from collectors editions.

My favorite and most realistic piece. Despite the issues mine has.

Oh :/. What kind of issue did u have ? Mine has a little part of the gun damaged but anyway that's a BD figure so ...

Sorry i can't remember all the 1429686539 posts ;-). I will check it then thanks man

Yeah I only said that because I asked him on here and I am not sure if Drac can still remember all the issues he had. If you look up Legends display case in this thread he list the problems with it on that page.

The legs are slightly stiff, but like I said. Not as bad as the Enterbay Joker and Batman figures. One of the ankles is kinda loose. The top handle on the minigun is missing and obviously broken off, nowhere to be found in the box. The LED eye turned itself off and on, turning the head around seemed to fix this though or maybe the battery just died. Haven't checked. Oh and the paint was kinda sticky on the chest, don't know if it's still like that but it looks good.

I have a stupid newbie question. This is my first figure from Hot Toys. And I for the life of me cannot figure how to put the cape on. I know this may be an idiotic question but I gotta ask.

Can any of you link a video that shows how to do it or give me detailed instructions on how exactly it's supposed to connect to the shoulders? Thank you.

EDIT: Oh wait, I get it now, I think, you are not actually changing the slope of the traps? just lifting the entire chest section up a bit? Easier to cut the neck post and push it down into the body IMO, well that's what I found.
:duff

1) First of all, I won't be entertaining your photoshop. There is a very nice slope to the traps on my figure that wasn't there before the mod. I've done it to two DX12's and the difference is immediate and profound.

2) No it's not just a way to shorten the neck. I said repeatedly that you have it heat the armor up and push down, so no, it's not 'just lifting the entire chest section up a bit'. I've put the shims in, heated him up, pushed down, and watched the slope being created before my very eyes twice now.

3) I do not like any of the other neck mods as they either damage the figure or hinder articulation. This is the only neck mod I would ever consider on the QS because it shortens the neck and improves the trap angle at the same time without damaging anything.

4) The Kevlar connectors are not all bent like that on my figure anymore. I've since done the swap and flip mod to them.

Here's what my DX12 looks like today. Still a work in progress.

What's bugging me now is the way the shoulder blades wing up. I plan to trim them back a little...

My understanding is that it's the same design as the DX12. Here's instruction on how to install that cape:

Why are people emailing BBTS every single day? It's been confirmed by pretty much every retailer they won't have them until at least mid to late October. It's not like they are going to email back saying, "oh yeah we got them today and yours will be the first to be shipped out since you asked"

Retailers will get them when they get them.
