Yeah, looks just f'n great.... Almost took the excitement away from the Emperor PPO this AM for me.... well, for a few seconds anyway.

Dream figure indeed but I think I can speak for most when I say the ultimate "Dream Figure" would be Arnie from T1. I have no doubt thats coming next.

My dream Terminator is BD T-800 from T2. I grew up on T2 for quite some time before I ever even saw T1, I had the Kenner toys, I just love T2 of all the Terminator films, and I love the BD look Winston came up with for that film.

As good as the battle damage figure will be I don't think I could live with just that version.

I always prefer clean or original figures over battle damaged or variations, a good example being the Big Boss Metal gear solid figure with the zombie facepaint. I'd never buy that unless I had the figure without the face paint. I would need a clean version of T2 Anrie without any damage. I just prefer having the character in full. If i've only got funds for one it will definitely be the clean version!

T1 T-800 is definitely on the list as well! T2 I'm the most nostalgic for but T1 is well T1. Really can't believe this is finally happening!

Since i loved how well the damaged Marcus head came out,only reason that stopped me from displaying it was that awesome greatcoat.I have to say a T2 BD T-800 would really show how much Hot Toys can raise the bar with paint application mixed with a great sculpt and great tailoring.Visually BD would look better then this version IMO..with the tattered and worn out clothing,mixed with scuffs and bullet holes here and there, that one eye lit up..hell if they included a light up molten steel base with chains for him to hold on to, that would be soo kick ass.

I hope we see full specs next week...that grey t-shirt is annoying me. For that look, he should have a black t-shirt. And please let a T1 figure be next...it is my Grail piece.

Looking at that first pic with the skins forearm I imagine they'll do something similar to the Wolverine and Comedian bodies and give him plastic arms. Likely the skinless left arm is either a swap-out forearm or the whole arm together. And if he's got two different shirts then removeabke arms will be a neccessity for gettig them on and off. Wow this is exciting!

T1 for me, it's just so Raw and brutal with an end that scared the hell out of you during the cold war.
I love T2 but not as much. It leaves me in quandary now, do I hold on hoping for a Tech Noir T-800 or should I get this and risk being too poor if a T1 is announced?
Also how could anybody think that a Tech Noir Terminator is a fail?

Removable arms won't be neccesary to take off his t-shirts.

T1 and T2 are equally as awesome as say Batman Begins and TDK. However i'm a HUGE fan of "originals" (as they tend to be better) and T1 is one of those films that was most memorable to me as a child. Yes ........ I saw T1 when I was 8. LOVED it ever since.

Still I honestly can't argue one being THAT much better than the other.

Oh and BTW Hot Toys I LOVE YOU GUYS!

T1 and T2 are two quite different but also similar films, I think depending on who you are and how you came to know them, each one offers something different to attach to. I enjoy Arnold as a hero, that's partly why I like T2 more, he also has more character to him in T2 because of John tweaking his chip and just being the good guy and interacting with people instead of just killing them. "You can't go around killing people." "Why?" "What do you mean why, cuz you can't." "Why?"

There are only 3 films that I really couldn't wait seeing the sequel to.

1. T2 (waited impatiently for over 7 years)

2. Back to the Future 2

3. The Dark Knight

All 3 films REALLY grabbed you at the end ............. pure awesomeness!

Which I feel almost any Terminator sequel would be if Cameron were behind them. Not all, but a lot of great sequels are because the original creators are behind it. Terminator was Cameron's vision, his world, he knew how to take it further and go further with it. I enjoy the whole Terminator series, but there's a certain touch that is missing from 3 and 4 because of Cameron's absence.
