Hot Toys- Terminator 2: Sarah Connor full spec and pics

Thankfully at the moment, Terminator is the only line getting money from me with HT.

Come to think of it, me too.

With major exception of Reeve Supes if he comes out this year.

They're just not doing anything I'm into right now other than Terminator, I feel no need for any of the Iron Man figures, I could care less about Avatar or Titans or any other big movie coming this year that they could tackle, Predators has to win me over, I'm not going to want figures until I judge the movie. This is a nice, quiet year for me with offerings thankfully.

Well there are some things they could put out that I'd go for, but of anything that looks pending for the year at the moment, Terminator is the only one interesting me.

I guess actually, same for me, last year was just Dutch, Predator, DX Joker and DX Batman and Iron Man Mark 3. Dark Knight alone consisted of that many figures in 2008, and I had POTC and AVPR on top of that.

I spent the bulk of my $$$ on TDK in 2008. I also bought the Mark 3 but sent that back immediately. Cheap POS imo. Nice features but too flimsy for my liking.

Agreed.

Apart from the odd custom figure I want, this year has nothing major of interest lined up except T2. Although I may get an IM2 figure or two if I have a lull and need a fix.

Haven't seen nor have interest in seeing IB and no interest in the figure, though he is a nice looking figure, great Pitt sculpt.

I already own it and it is one of my faves.

Just meant going forward in 2010, only Terminator 2 has my interest and cash.

Not really, if you want the best T2 Sarah from HT, you have to buy both, neither one of these figures as stand alones are really good representations, the head from this latest with the body and gear from the current MMS119 are the most encompassing representation of T2 Sarah.

I see a pattern similar to the V1 and Bank Robber Jokers.... then of course they undid that plan with the DX.

Still, you could get the V2 Sarah, then grab the gun, hat and glasses when they're parted out and have a complete Sarah.

Except the V2 Sarah sculpt looks like shiete, it belongs in a Georgetown Bedroom overlooking a particularly long flight of stairs.

V1 Sculpt = Good
V1 Hair Sculpt = Cabbage patchy awful, wrong color too.

V2 Hair = Good
V2 Sculpt = "Your mother sucks koks in Hell"

I'd like to see more photos of the face first to really gauge it, but the hair's a little awkward, good to be long and all, but the side part doesn't make sense when her hair parts down the middle and she has bangs. Of course, that photo could be old like the early Dutch photos and a final portrait could look different.

I've yet to own an HT rooted hair figure so I don't know if you could change the part in it yourself or if you're kind of stuck with what they do.

Still better than no hair down though.

Man, I really want that T-1000 Sarah! Hopefully Sideshow will get it and it really isn't limited to just 300. What is HT thinking with a size like that?

Well, it's like their Clubber Lang and Sao Feng variants, for some reason they like to occassionally do small runs of some figures.

If my memory serves me correctly didn't they release Clubber with a run of 250 and then rerelease it again at another 250? So 500 total?

No idea, I didn't even want the boxing Clubber let alone the street, I do know that Street one hung around Sideshow's site for a long time, Sao too, but I would expect this Sarah will be the best selling of these super limited variants.

I wonder if it's an arranged Comic Con Exclusive for Sideshow, though the odd thing is, it wasn't part of their announcements. Hopefully we'll know fairly soon or see some more images. I hate these half-assed early photo leaks, you get excited and a decent glimpse but you wait weeks for a real look, same with the T-800 with that very early catalog scan.
