Hot Toys- Terminator 2: Sarah Connor full spec and pics

Yeah, Dutch was a major screw up with putting out information. Still don't understand if that first figure wasn't approved, why it was ever even sent out and published.

That's why I'm not certain this Sarah is 100% final, if this is another Dutch type scenario, we could see something a bit different before this is over, waiting for official spec pics to know exactly how this figure's going to be.

I suppose sdcc would be better than nothing. And being an attendee would help too. Buut the ppo would/will be crazy. Any word on a mspr? I expect more than Sarah, but just how much more?

Well, I'm pretty sure that was relative to Sideshow product, I don't think he'd necessarily be privy to Hot Toys stuff, but probably saw some Sideshow pieces in progress during a visit.

Haven't seen nor have interest in seeing IB and no interest in the figure, though he is a nice looking figure, great Pitt sculpt.

Not to derail this thread too much but you gotta check it out Sean. Anybody who is a fan of movies would love it. It's the real deal.

I already own it and it is one of my faves.

Just meant going forward in 2010, only Terminator 2 has my interest and cash.

I'm thinking new product types, maybe 1/6 statues like they're doing with LOTR, which could be cool, though not necessarily new, I think the T2 statue with the gatling gun was about 1/6.

As long as it's T1 or T2 and not just more Endoskeleton pieces, I'm excited.

i don't like that face that much, but the hair, damn... this is the first time i'm liking the hair on a female figure. this really doesn't have anymore the "barbie"-hairlook. And it makes the other sarah figure really awefull.

Anyone know if that Donut T-1000 on the left is of an upcoming figure or if that is just something else? Based on the rest of the pics there it would seem its a figure and not a movie still or prop shot or anything like that. Given we are getting this T-1000 as Sarah, a real T-1000 would seem all but a given at this point anyway. Making him a DX would be great, even without PERS. He just has so many arms and heads and minor outfit changes they could make him a DX based on that alone.

Because HT are evil and want us to get speculating on a figure over a film still.

I would tend to think it is a tease for the T-1000 figure, and not an included piece in the Sarah-1000. You can see the cop uniform in that pic, its definately not Sarah's clothes at least. It looks like a magazine pic. If I had to guess the other page (the left one) probably has T-1000 pics on it and that donut head just spills over onto the Sarah-1000 page.

But based on that and the Sarah-1000, we should expect to see some battle damage for the T-1000 (bullet holes, split heads, etc).

Looks to be a film still with warping due to the magazine curve, BUT notice the absence of the blue/white light segment in the hole and the pipes, etc. above. (May have been shopped out of the magazine pic, but why would they do that?)

The collar also appears different on the right side.

We could have a figure here people!
