Hat seems too large....

wow, might just be me but the sculpt actually looks better than the proto shots. agree the hat looks kinda crappy but rest of the outfit looks great.

The hats on HT figures alway look kinda crud to me. Every figure I've had with a hat (Kyle Reese, PMC '07 and Secret Service ERT) always looked goofy with the hats on.

I don't think it's necessarily a problem with the hat, looks to me like whoever put the hat on probably didn't feed the ponytail through the back and the hat sits higher on her head than it should. The trouble with these early shots, some people don't futz the figures properly and so you can't tell if the product's so-so or if they just didn't make it look as good as it can.

Sideshow might also offer the Limited Sarah. Wasn't the primer gunmetal Iron Man a exclusive and they were able to offer it.

Hmmm... that is just before SDCC. So it is possible they'll have a few extras made for Sideshow to do at SDCC. I hope so at least!

I can't conceive of Sideshow teaming up for the license without working for them to offer all the figures made.

I forgot about that! Thats right! This line is being made through Sideshow's license for 12" figures! It would only make sense for them to get the exclusive too. If not, that is very bad form for HT. I'm fine with minor variants like the Silly Thing based being changed on the Gunmetal Iron Man for the SDCC version. So if there is something small like that, I can live with that much of a difference to keep the 'exclusive' of the Japanese Con. I mean the PZ international exclusive was only different on the bottom of the base. That would be A-OK here.

Not sure what'll happen, but I'm hopeful of Sideshow making this set availabile, maybe even the best version of it through them. I wouldn't say shame on HT for making it and not making it available through Sideshow if it doesn't happen, but more shame on Sideshow for not taking more authority over the use of the license to look out for their collectors who followed their own T2 line and are eager to fill the gaps they never did.
