Personally I would not bother with the T700, just wait for the T800, I'm sure there will be another release of it. Its a shame that they are still using the old model. No new sculpt especially the head

Why do people keep saying there are no T-700s in the movie? Connor fights them in the beginning of the film. They look largely like an 800 made from different alloys.

i would get it if they resculpt the endoskull a bit ...especially the jaw... it needs to be widened and beef up a bit... also the eye socket section needs to be modified to make it more mean looking... I find it a bit too long faced.

That chrome application and the wires around its neck, the point where they attach to the back of the skull, it pops out quite a bit.

My only problem with the HT endo was the eyes weren't spherical enough and it wasn't a chrome paint job but maybe you guys are right about the jaw too. I think it could probably protrude forward a bit more than it does. In the scene where the T1 endo is shoulder-barging the factory door its chin sticks out noticeably.

Anyway - since I have the 2 original HT endos I'd have no need for a straight rerelease - I'd be more inclined to get the 700 if anything.

Its good to hear I am not the only person who thinks that. I find the head too stretched. They should make it more like the cinemaquette. And since Hot Toys has advanced with their near perfect head sculpts, they should at least think about rescuplting the skull, if they ever release it again.

Totally agree. But yea a new set of eyes would really do it for me.

That Cinemaquette looks amazing but it seems to have McFarlane MMV-itus...or 'no neck'.

Who hear would dish out the money for a completely metal 1/6 endo? I know i would because the Cinemaquette looks amazing since it's all metal. Or at least if HT makes a really shiny one.

BTW, Aoshima makes metal T-800's. However, the HT version looks better.
I wonder is anyone has ever bothered polishing the Aoshimas.
