They may produce another t-800. if they did it with the joker, I wouldn't see a problem doing it with a t-800.

I also hope that they don't. But only because I have one ;)

I would love them to re-release the Aliens Colonial Marines, though those are much more in need of an update than the amazing T-800 Endoskeleton that Hot Toys already released.

YES !. More marines !. I have all the originals but I want more !. :banana:banana

On the Endo? Yeah I suppose but for a 1/6 scale action figure this finish is probably most practical. Even Iron Man didn't come out with the crome/metalic effect.

I know someone did an HT Endo repaint, but I can't find the photos so I'll just use these:

Fellow board member r5150s repainted his NECA 18" Endo to great effect.

The thread for this mod can be found here.

I'm sure it'd work on the HT figure as well. Frankly, I'd rather just have an Arnold T-800 figure.

And that chrome paint will prolly chip pretty easy unless you left it in that pose forever. And you might as well by a statue then.

Yea I'm looking at the photos of the base too and that T-800 sign looks like a sticker that was stuck on and doesn't look very authentic to me. But I would love a re-release. Especially of the BD version with the skull base. Totally missed out on that one. Had so many chances and I totally didn't get on it fast enough.

Hasn't been confirmed or anything....but is anyone thinking about canceling the T-700?

props to slipknotpredator for resizing the pics. Thanks!

Just to speculate a little more...

Are these pics from the 'Salvation' premiere? The 'UA Cinema' happening or what ever it was... https://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=84975986193&h=i7KPP&u=kg6J-&ref=mf
If so I remember someone commenting the NEW paintjob in HTs Facebook-page. That it looks better and thanking them for the teaser???

Cant find the post anymore but I do remember someone mentioning this...

EDIT: Might actually help if someone had a shot of the description card. Maybe a release date on the card???

i do hope they release another 't-800 shape' endo... I wasn't into collecting expensive pieces back then, but seeing as I've got Vader, the Ark, and the joker DX on order... I may as well go for this too (and the HT batman... and Iron man... and.. and...) :lol

I'd LOVE for this to come out (or an equivalent... something I could pass off as being from T1/T2 in my head basically lol)

Don't want no TS figures....

So nothing confirm yet from HT's end, I take it?

This is quite an interesting case we have a here. As we have some pros and cons regarding to reissue T800 or not.

So far, we can come up with the pros being:

- there's no T700 in T4, and that the main bad guy is T800.

- most people missed out on the first issue, and that there's still a few more fans who has it already, but wouldn't mind getting a few more. So overall, these would still sell well. As there's more fan base to the T800, compared to the T700 or T600 for that matter.

Cons being:

- these would just be another reissue, WITHOUT any modification whatsoever. As they already have light up eye function, movie accurate scale, and paint job shouldn't be far off either.

- no new weapons to add either.

- if they decide to reissue this, without any major improvement (eg batman begin OC and TDK OC), then they would probably disappoint quite a few of their fans (as some of their hard core fans has been dropping some serious bills on the secondary market, only to have it reissued). And also resulting customers to hold off on their purchases and POs, fearing that they purchases would soon be obsolete.

I own a BD endo, and its taking a back seat in my shelf as I'm not that huge a fan of terminator saga, so it doesn't really matter to me much. But if they should decide to reissue this, then I certainly would take a wait and see approach in my future purchases.

Overall, IMO if HT decides to reissue this, they have more to lose in the long run. I used to think that they are smarter than this, I hope they learn their lesson with MMS DX joker. I guess we'll know soon enough.

My 2C.

Why do people keep saying there are no T-700s in the movie? Connor fights them in the beginning of the film. They look largely like an 800 made from different alloys.

So....how much you want for it??? :D

The only improvement for the original HT T-800 Endo could be the chrome paint. Otherwise it is one of the best 1:6 figures, if not the best.

That chrome application and the wires around its neck, the point where they attach to the back of the skull, it pops out quite a bit.
