Hot Toys: The Dark Knight: 1/4 The Joker

My preorder was made 07/2017 at KgHobby. Well i hope if nothing they will get before 25.12.2018. But i doubt it will.
Really want him bad he will be my centerpiece and only 1/4 scale figure.

What's better, quarter scale or premium format?

The pose of the PF is weird and the sculpt off, but it's still better than what HT has to offer.

I’m almost confident the delay is because of a resculpt. This is the iron man of DC for HT.

Even from based on what we've seen, the Hot Toys is still definitely better than the PF (which isn't saying much). The PF is trash.

I sold the PF to get the Enterbay, which I kind of regret. And Enterbay's figure looks better than HT's. Conclusion: PF > HT

But that's just me.

PF is under rated IMO. The headsculp has the Joker Attitude, where the HT scult is kinda blank Attitude, Enterbay version is more accurate though. The problem with EB Joker is body proportions and tailoring, where the PF is better on both things

The PF's paint apps can't even stand up to HT 1/6 figures. It isn't even a contest in this alone.

I own Prime 1 and Enterbay, and I think the HT prototype is the worst 1/4 "high end" product so far

Both headsculpts - HT and Sideshow - are equally off (for different reasons)

EB's proportions are pretty good but the quality is just horrible. Otherwise I agree with your post.

In retrospect I regret the PF => EB trade, but I already have the P1 1/2 statue so I keep the figure and hope that someone's going to do a rooted hair 1/4 headsculpt for a reasonable price.

EB's proportions are pretty good but the quality is just horrible. Otherwise I agree with your post.

Don't you think Enterbay Joker has pretty long legs? I seem to find his head too small and his legs too long... Prime1 is probably the best around.. though he looks sad

Oh, the head is too small, absolutely, but I was talking about the body proportions. The legs are a tad too long, but unlike HT and Sideshow he isn't too skinny and the chest area is spot on.

P1 is the best around but it could be better.

Been obvious for a while now HT just aren't bothering with DC this year. Maybe the revised Joker sculpt still isn't ready but its downright bizarre they don't display the Justice League.

EB definitely has its faults but 1/4 wise, it beats the PF. I’m sure HT will beat it too since it’s years later since EB’s offering.

I too have the P1 Joker and by far best commercial offering ever of Ledger Joker. But it should be for $2K.

I've always thought that. Either too long or too skinny - their T-800s are the same.

I am really hoping this figure comes out great! After all this delay it would be a let down it does not. Although I must say, I will probably buy it even it looks only as good as the prototype pictures.

I honestly think after the 4th or 5th no show that this is being revised. It makes no sense otherwise, especially with the delay. Not a chance in hell that it won't have at least some revisions.

In regards to the rest of the JL, I think it's because they're near final products and they haven't yet released the final looks for them so they won't show. I think it's all a good sign.

Also I think it looked great anyway, so any slight improvements they do make, win win.
