Have to say i like alot of things i'm seeing. The suit looks way better in the video, sits and drapes just fine. The head looks phenomenal also the switch between teeth and tong is very innovative. The display stand is improved alot compared to those old grabbers, finaly they deside to go the acrylic route. Personaly i found this the best way. Magnets are decent but still its a pain to pose correctly. Overall i cant wait to get this bad boy in hand :D

Still think they have to do a Artisan Terminator btw:sneaky:

Even though I don't use the stands, I like how they have given multiple options for positions to slot in the crotch grabbed and also like how they have added a "foot peg" option for more stability.

Glad they thought of a different solution for the stand instead of the mini ankle grabber they had initially planned for this. I definitely like this more than a magnetic base though.

Makes me wonder if they’ll do the same thing for old man Indy’s display base.

So what do you guys think of the body and clothing so far?

I never owned any Joker figure and by looking at some of these blogger photos and that Youtube unboxing video I'm kind of wanting to get one (standard) just for those custom sculpts. But don't know if HTs new scale would be a major issue.

I really liked my Inart Joker (sculpted). But after seeing this video, comparing to the Hot Toys sculpted, I have to say that for me, the Hot Toys is the winner.
I see more likeness here. I like the opened mouth and the option with the tongue (this is a very essential characteristic). The sculpted hair just destroys Inarts. The body proportion is very good even without the coat.

Maybe I will wait for some more video reviews, but it already looks like I will sell my Inart Joker.

I'm sure some of the reviewers will show it side by side with the InArt Joker which will help you decide.

I'm still to this day very happy with my decision to cancel the Inart version, it came out absolutely dire. But what it did succeed in doing seemingly is making Hot Toys actually produce a good Joker for once.

I was slightly upset that I missed out on ordering the artisan, I'd be completely happy with this, even moreso if I was a new collector. This is a very solid release.

I think Inart, not now, but further down the line, need to do a 2.0, they owe it to themselves, because I have no idea how you start a new line of figures with one of the most popular characters and then release what they released. And then they released actual great, if not some of the greatest figures afterwards.

So far I think Hot Toys have won it, but again, they literally just bought it from other people, and got pushed to do better by Inart.

Onto the JND release now!

Agreed overall although the implication that HT never made a good Joker seems unfair. HT are the ones who changed the game with Bank Robber Joker back in the day. It was the figure to own. Yes as it turns out there was a lot of scope for improvement but at the time it was universally praised for just about everything. DX01 and DX11 arguably weren't big leaps forward from that. Indeed many continued to prefer the Bank Robber sculpt but also the customs had kicked into high gear by then.

Still, Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker deserves some credit.

Wow this last video is truly amazing. Also love the fact that it isnt quite the same paint/hair as the imposter. This one looks way better to me especialy arround the eyes

wow... ******* props to them for doing what I've been suggesting to Inart for the past 2 years...

That not only you get a crotch grabber system with a number of different placements. But you can actually peg the shoes in as well.

It's long past due, but Inart still has done nothing to solve their broken stand system. And Hot Toys got it right on the first go.

Shameful, Inart.
