I just really dislike the open mouth choice. Was a smirk so hard?

In general i just don’t like the sort of bug eyed look. He looks like he just did a line in most of these blogger photos lol.

But I love that he came with almost every accessory. Not sure why InArt skimped out on the dang pencil at the very least. And a lot more varied hands (hopefully a lot easier to put on than those useless magnet pegs InArt went with that also make no sense.)

With this the artisan line is alive and well, hopefully it stays like that and Anakin is not just a new sculpt with rooted hair, his costume has a lot of room for improvement

Well. We had many smirk sculpts and closed-mouth neutral ones, so I actually appreciate something different and licking was one of the Ledger's tips for performing the Joker.

Exactly this. It was very underwhelming in hand, you can see it’s a good sculpt and it’s just properly lazy painting-it’s a waste of a great sculpt. The hairs good, better out the box than my inart joker but the paint apps just killed it. I was lucky enough that sideshow accepted my request for a full return because I wasn’t happy with it.
It’s a great sculpt, but the paint lacks detail and imo there’s too much hair. Overall it’s a decent release, but I won’t be keeping my sculpted version.

Same sculpt by a custom artist:

The velcro on the lapels is a really nice touch.

I appreciate this sort of stuff.

Probably should have done the same for the grenade compartments.
That’s not Velcro on the lapel. That’s fabric interfacing that is ironed on. In this use, it helps the lapels keep their shape and form.

Agreed this Heise custom is superior in paint and hair. But the price for the sculpt itself and then the added cost for this kind of custom paint/rooting work makes the HT offering much more attractive. It’s a close facsimile at a fraction of the price.

It's nice to see that they did in fact make some changes/improvements to this Joker head since the Imposter.

It does look nice in Ronnie's video and that latest one.
So bizarre they’d be different as one would assume they time those exclusive releases that reuse sculpts to hit production at the same time so that they can make all of the heads at once.

The clothing on this is Phenomenal Nicer then any clothes iĺl ever own lol.😄 I doubt ill Ever take off his jacket hate fixing after like to keep factory futzed nice haha... Almost want buy a 2nd to have with coat off interrogation scene look. The sculpted hair looking so much like the rooted is Amazing. This is one of release's set n admire prob Never touch after set n Museum pose. Just remember check ankle joints my bank robbers ankle arrived broken and wouldnt have known if didnt check under the socks that was only reason foot was still attached to body. So always check any figure's w socks or full suits for any broken joints. Very glad to see differnt stand options some of stands can do a lot damage to some over time. Again just WoW to this joker need to rewatch and compare it all. Cant wait to get him Into collection.

Since it was unknown what sort of final product InArt would release, I didn't get their Joker and it jumped up in price pretty quick after the fact.

I've recently started to want to get back into 1/6 collecting, and would love to have a Ledger Joker again. I remember thinking the DX11 was the peak a figure could reach lol.
