Hot Toys' sculpted hair I'd considered superior to InArts'. It was their first release, but InArt's sculpted hair appeared bulky and similar to dreadlocks.
However, InArt has made improvements in this area. Their sculpted Batman hair, for instance, has been well-received. Compared to their rooted version I honestly would have purchased a standard Batman instead. Rooted looks fine, but value wasn't there as much unless you're going to display him without the cowl.
In conclusion, when comparing rooted hair, choose the expression you prefer! Both are bangers! For sculpted hair, Hot Toys is generally seen as having a more realistic appearance.
