Correct, these aren't truly rooted or punched like how JND does it via silicone so the start with the roots/scalp sculpted then glue in the hair.

It's definitely impressive in hand,rooted version. Just a quick pic out the box. Hair needs futzing n all that but the paint sculpt and hair are well done

Still waiting on shipping notice for the artisan from sideshow, glad it’s not got the noticeable vest clasp issue

Just got my rooted hair version…it’s like a real person but it’s been shrunken down to 1/6 scale.
Accessing the Eye system is a pain in the ass but apart from that gotta say it’s near perfection
I wonder how many toy companies have had a go at making the Heath joker figure over the years, must be a lot.

Honestly, I’m curious to see if anyone rehairs/repaints this guy. I feel like it’s actually a great sculpt and I’d be curious to see what the tongue in particular would look like with a really high end, caked on, mob scene/seriously raccoon eyed paint job.

Hair and eyes look better on the HT version imo. Still, both are very solid figures.

Agreed, and on most rooted sculpts. And the wonky PERS. But good thing is that you can easily convert it to SERS.

JOKOR 2.0 will fix that.

At this point, I’ll just settle with the current 1.0. If a IA Jokor 2.0 happens, then I’d upgrade.

I much prefer the HT coat color and the lapels. I also like the HT tie. I’d like to have a “perfect” TDK Joker but it just seems so overwhelming to outsource all these parts, make sure they fit and everything. I know custom work isn’t allowed here so I’ll shut my mouth now.

So it's taller than IA Jokor. Which one is correctly scaled? Hot Toys seem to be in an oversizing mood lately but IA also messed up Cavill Superman's height.
