Yeah i am thinking that HT and rooted hair is just not something they are going to master no matter how many times they do it. Just too many qc issues to deal with. That time would be better spent further improving paint work and sculpted hair.
I wish it looked as good as a paid custom, but I am perfectly happy with the figure for the price, it really does look like a little Heath on the shelf, by far their best sculpt to date.
The hair on the sculpted version is pretty incredible, I think the best sculpted hair we've seen on a ledger joker figure. Sometimes looks better than the rooted imo
Some food for thought.
Grabbed this photo from the imposter Joker thread. To my untrained eye, the hair looks rooted to the scalp and doesn't look to have the glue line issue of this Artisan scalp.
This is just a one off example but I did observe a few others and they looked similar.
If this pattern continues with a bigger sample size of both versions then looks like more effort was put into the imposter hair than the Artisan hair. I say this specifically to the scalp integration since the overall hairstyle of the Artisan looks better than the Imposter's.
