Damn why? My WB100 WW hair has no issues and still holding up, did they change up the glue?

And you can't really root into PVC, has to be silicone or something. Wool hair is probably too thin anyways, actual 1/6 rooting looks a bit thick at the root.

The INART one is great, but it could do with a repaint and rehair (or insane futzing of the stock hair) to really nail it. Add a custom coat and it’s amazing, imo.

I still don’t get the love for the Hot Toys DX32/33 though, especially with the outfit, but I understand most average collectors couldn’t care less for costumes in general.

On a real note, I should’ve said it another way as to not upset you or others. My b.

I wouldn’t take offense personally if you criticized something I like though. “Threezero Drogon is one gigantic piece of plastic crap”. Cool, I still dropped $1k+ on it.

I’m also able to personally acknowledge a figure’s shortcomings even if I have purchased it. For example, TROS Rey has a very bad likeness, and yet, that’s the figure I owe for getting me into Hot Toys and I still love that figure and I will never part ways with it.

Hell, you can sh*t on the character of Rey all you want. Take it up a notch beyond figures. Idc. Wouldn’t deter me. I’ll still like her character regardless.

Man, that is bad! I’m willing to bet Sideshow doesn’t have enough replacement on hand for everyone. If anyone even has the slightest bit of hair falling out or glue becoming orange and crusty, I would definitely not delay in getting a replacement if you can. If this gets bad enough, HT may do a recall like they did for the MK85 Stark sculpt

It’s definitely bad, but I wouldn’t put off the entire artisan line just b/c of this. Neither Jack Sparrow, Imposter Joker or the WB100 Wonder Woman (she’s basically an unofficial artisan) appear to have this issue.

Take that Hot Toys fanboys (looking at a certain YouTuber). I think it has something to do with the hair dye causing the brown discolouring and/or hair falling out.

Hot Toys and rooted hair was always a recipe for disaster.

Don't expect premium and luxury from a cheap company.

It is. It'll just vary for different people, climate conditions etc..

It's the type of thing you'd see on their Superman figures, were the glue discoloration started to seep through. Or what we've experienced in the past with pleather.

So how many reported cases of Rogaine Joker does that make? Two out of 4000+ released figures so far? And no reported issues with Imposter Joker that’s been out for a few months now?

Curious if this is just a couple panic inducing, isolated issues due to a flaw in the manufacturing process or some other issue caused by where the figures have been displayed or how they were handled or if it is actually a widespread problem.
