I didn't buy either, but I was thinking about picking up the sculpted version. I probably missed the opportunity to get it at a somewhat reasonable price as I can see its value climbing in wake of the rooted hair falling out on the Artisan version. Fingers crossed it's not every single one and those of you with the Artisan don't have any hair issues

I’m not saying there’s no cause for concern but at the same time this seems over reactionary based upon a couple social media posts.

I’d be upset if it happened to me but I think like many things in this hobby people tend to blow things out of proportion.

It seems the orange clumping is the sign of disaster, mine has none of it and also no signs of loosing hair. This is regardless a huge problem and warrants replacements or refunds, so far the only other artisans I got on order is Jack Sparrow and Luke, opening them on day 1 and if there's Trump colored goo in the hair its replacement time.

I knew Hot Toys were cheap but using crap glue and/or styler on your "premium" line will bite them so hard in the ass that even a 3am decision meeting should have decided against it.

I hadn't touched mine to restyle. I actually didn't even put it on display. Was only taking it out to look at it. After seeing how good some looked from other forum members, it got me thinking that something wasn't right with mine. I'll post comparison pics when I get a chance of the one that came with the figure vs the replacement.

The hair falling out this quickly is unjustifiable. I've had my WB100 WW since October 2023 and her hair is perfect (I even washed it and restyled it). A nearly $600 limited release figure should have no glaring issues.
