Surprised at the price, even factoring in the Exclusive nature of the figure. I'd have thought HT might have been paying attention to how long the Marvel Rescue Cap has been up and maybe thought the $200+ price point for a single figure is getting to be much.

I anticipate that this Gordon will be around for awhile. I'm sure alot of people are holding their breath for the trenchcoat version and then you're really just some basic SWAT gear away from this figure.

HT is selling this for $1380 HKD here at AniCom which is about $185US., so Sideshow is putting quite a markup on these!

The irony is if Hot Toys hadn't posted on Facebook last night that a regular Gordon was going to be for sale, I would have jumped all over this as soon as it went up today. Knowing there will be a regular Gordon that is more fitting, I have no desire to buy this one. Thats an easy $200 saved.

Im going to pick this guy up for sure, im a big Oldman fan so having this aswell as the inevitable commissioner outfit doesn't bother me too much as it just means, commissioner can be posed with bats and s.w.a.t can be posed with joker.

If Trench coat Gordon was the Ex I would buy it and if SWAT Gordon was a regular release I still would buy it. Sucks about the price, I don't want to take my chances and try to find it after.

But in all seriousness, the price being $225 doesn't bother me, it's the shipping and customs that come with ordering this from Sideshow that sucks. I was unpleasantly surprised when I got my 2011 Batman.

I ordered one, gorden is a big part of all the movies and will look nice on display, I'm not a hugh fan of him but the figure looks great and that head sculpt is really amazing.

No they haven't as far as i'm aware.

There is just a stop-motion video with a trenched Gordon with the HT head - we don't know if that is a new HT figure or a custom outfit with the HT head.

Yeah as usual...we get this Gordon..might not be another for a long long time if ever...........

I expect a Normal Gordon will come eventually. But I'd say in another year we will finally get Ras, Blake and a DX Scarecrow first. So If we are getting a new Gordon it is at least 18 months out. Since he will actually be the first of the next onslaught of Bats figures and it's easier to customize a trenchcoat than Gotham SWAT, I happily PO'ed him today.

Do I wish he was cheaper? Yeah. Do I wish they just included his other outfit with this? Yeah. Will he own the $___ outta my Joker with that shotgun for the next year and a half while everyone else is waiting for Trenchcoat Commish? Hells yeah.

PE is always misleading, it's like his MO it seems, lol. I PO Gordon today and I'm happy. I'll bash cheap trench coat version, and when HT eventually does that version I'll go back to displaying him as the SWAT version. There's no guarantee that a future Gordon will actually be a better sculpt.

PE is always misleading, it's like his MO it seems, lol. I PO Gordon today and I'm happy. I'll bash cheap trench coat version, and when HT eventually does that version I'll go back to displaying him as the SWAT version. There's no guarantee that a future Gordon will actually be a better sculpt.

well if its a lie and Hot Toys lets it be posted to their website, then I guess they have no one to blame for losing my purchase then themselves.
