With notices going out, is it safe to say that if waitlists don't convert in the next few days, then they never will?

They might convert. Most likely all wait list will convert if you place em as soon as it sold out.

I wouldn't say never. With this not having a NRD, I'm sure alot of people will still cancel. How many is the question though.

Good point.

Too many good stuffs is coming later this year. I'm sure this figure isn't a priority for most.

Okay, this figure will be worthless in a few weeks. Everyone should cancel right now!!

So, I should have this in hand by the end of the first week of September. I'm sure HT will release another Gordon at some point in the future, and I'll get that one too., but this swat version is too sweet to pass up, especially after OMG's photos.

The price is a bit much, but seeing as how +$200 is the standard, with very few coming in below that, it's to be expected since its an exclusive. If it was a regular release at this price, then I'd understand the price complaints.

Got my processing notice! I can't wait. It'll be a nice change of pace from the various superheroes.

Just did, and "DAYUM!" they look great....

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight Lt. Jim Gordon S.W.A.T suit version Figure - Specs & Pic

I completely agree. I wasn't really looking for a Gordon and wasn't overly impressed that he was in a SWAT uniform when it became available, but something told me I'd be sorry if I didn't jump. I PO'd about 20 mins after SS put it up. Man, am I glad I did...

Out of all those getting their notices, are you all on full pay? Just curious because I am on flex, and haven't gotten an email.

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight Lt. Jim Gordon S.W.A.T suit version Figure - Specs & Pic

Nor should they be excused for undersized heads :slap:

I agree. However, the only head that really bothers me is Two Face. The others are passable.

I would choose under-sized over bobble-headed avery day of the week.

I'm passing on this one. As soon as the price was revealed I was like "nope, not getting".

It looks alright but the price is definitely a killer. This is a $170 figure at best, if that. This looks like it could have easily have been released in 2008.

If I see it mint, MISB a few months from now with a price that's under the 200 mark for around $150-$160, maybe I'll pick it up.

100% in the same boat.

I hope the undersized head is not too awkward in hand as it did here:

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight Lt. Jim Gordon S.W.A.T suit version Figure - Specs & Pic

Then, while I see Gordon and Gary Oldman in there there's something about the latest Hot Toys head sculpts that look off to me. They're starting to all look the same. Like, I can tell a Hot Toys sculpt when I see one. The eyes are painted great, but all of them are starting to look like taxidermy or wax humans. They all look dead.

This isn't some kind of "Asian Tom Cruise" joke but, they all really look Asian to me as well. Gordon here is no exception. Some pics look like him, others, well, don't.

I guess it's true, God created man in his own image and so did Hot Toys.
