Out of all those getting their notices, are you all on full pay? Just curious because I am on flex, and haven't gotten an email.

Yes. You don't get that notice if you're on flex because you already know when they are taking your money. The email is more of a warning for your bank account then it is a shipping notice:

Your pre-order of the The Dark Knight - James Gordon (SWAT Version) Hot Toys (901837) will be arriving into our U.S. warehouse in approximately 23 days at which time we will charge your card for the item. Please verify that both your shipping address and payment information (above) are correct on your order by (approximately) Wednesday, September 5, 2012.

In my experience, they usually ship that day but as you can see, they say nothing about that.

Then, while I see Gordon and Gary Oldman in there there's something about the latest Hot Toys head sculpts that look off to me. They're starting to all look the same. Like, I can tell a Hot Toys sculpt when I see one. The eyes are painted great, but all of them are starting to look like taxidermy or wax humans. They all look dead.


This isn't some kind of "Asian Tom Cruise" joke but, they all really look Asian to me as well. Gordon here is no exception. Some pics look like him, others, well, don't.

I guess it's true, God created man in his own image and so did Hot Toys.

I think I'll stick my iminime head onto him for the holding cell display

Will try to get a 2nd outfit on eBay to use with the HT head and display him with the goggles and shotgun

I'm passing on this one. As soon as the price was revealed I was like "nope, not getting".

It looks alright but the price is definitely a killer. This is a $170 figure at best, if that. This looks like it could have easily have been released in 2008.

If I see it mint, MISB a few months from now with a price that's under the 200 mark for around $150-$160, maybe I'll pick it up.

Initially I had Angelica PO'd....after seeing more pics I cancelled in favor of this...was too late though...hopefully my wait list converts...another bonehead move on my part...I think Gordon looks great.

I hope the undersized head is not too awkward in hand as it did here:

HT's generic hands are notoriously oversized. On top of the E.T. index fingers that can't hold a pistol grip without it falling out when you look at it.

I canceled mine so congrats to who ever gets it I really wanted it cause its an amazing figure but just cant afford it right now. Hopefully they will do a comisssioner gorden at some point so I will at lest get some chance to own it.

It should be less, like the $160/5 mark.

This was cheaper. Yes different times. Doesn't have an exclusive tag but has more items than the above. But the above costs more? a lot more.

Like DiFab, I'll wait to see if it sells cheaper down the line. If not, then I'll just be happy with the inevitable trench coat version.

I had a good amount of SS points so I pulled the trigger. OMG pics look great so I'm looking forward to this one.
