Yeah I can definitely understand how the Luke and Kylo flashback scene might have rubbed fans the wrong way, but the outrage over fun little moments like this or tossing the lightsaber ever his shoulder is just completely baffling to me.

But oh well, it is what it is.

It's hilarious how people constantly use a sequence that lasted a few seconds as one of their main arguments for hating TLJ. It's really quite desperate.

It's because they deliberately choose to watch that gif on a loop instead of the film itself.

The irony of course being that even the gif really is quite funny (intentionally.)

Very nice. Sculpt perhaps got a bit softer indeed, but it doesn’t look by much to me if it did. I think it’s the best Luke sculpt in general.

Ordered from HK. Proto was already impressive. Glad the production piece looks as good on those first pics. Should be able to appreciate that sculp myself in a little over a week.

Agree, I think it looks the closest to Hamill. ROTJ would be a runner up but I can't get over the mouth lol

Mouth is fine to me simply because I think it is accurate to how he was a majority of the time in RotJ, which I agree wasn’t exactly the sexiest expression.

I think I'd honestly be okay with the mouth on the ROTJ if the eyes had a bit more life/expression to them lol. The way it is just makes it look like he's staring into nothing like "Dude, where's my car?". The BD DX07 has a similar mouth to the ROTJ, but you can move the eyes to make it look better and it's my favorite released Luke lol.

Anyway, regarding this figure, I'm happy to see the production looking good. I'm really looking forward to displaying him with Resistance Rey. I'll probably try to pick up a spare Ahch-To base from TFA Luke. I wish Hot Toys would make more diorama bases that could accommodate more than one figure.

Looks good in these pics IMO. Would be eager to see it in daytime lighting without the filters or colder lighting. Also, thank god they fixed the boots from TFA Luke. Looks much better now.

I’m glad they ended up including an Ahch-To dio base with this. I originally planned on using the one I have that came with TFA Luke on this figure, but I ended up using it with my Training Armor Wonder Woman figure because the landscape of that base looks like Themyscira, and she looks marvelous on it. I was just going to pick up another one to use with this figure, but they apparently ended up including one. Cool as well that it’s slightly different from the previous one in that it doesn’t have as much green, so that way they’re not exactly identical.

There is no dio base just one of the card bits that cover the stand.

There's a few pictures of him standing on this base with what appears to be a hole for a stand next to the heel of his left foot, so I figured it was something they would be including with the figure.

No that's not included, i think thats the chitauri base?
