One figure I’d like to see made that nobody has mentioned yet is Amanda Waller. HT isn’t going to make her but I sure hope one of the third part companies do. Nail the head sculpt and she’s an easy enough figure to make. Give her some enticing extras like the bomb detonation case and she’d be a decent $150 figure.

She’d be tough though, you’d have to get the likeness absolutely spot on for her to have the same presence she does in the movie.

For sure. The head sculpt would make or break that figure attempt. She’s just a lady in a suit otherwise and that’s not particularly toyetic. An important character like Krennic or Tarkin but not a particularly exciting figure visually.

If they do Harley I worry about what they’ll do with her hair as it’s quite long on this movie compared to the first suicide squad. I hope they manage to pull off sculpt ie: newer black widows. Rooted would be a mess imo

Amanda Waller would work about as well as Bruce Banner, Pepper Potts, Agent Coulson, Commissioner Gordon, and the list goes on of Hot Toys figures of characters from Super Hero movies who just look like ladies or gentlemen going to office jobs.
Why not add Amanda Waller, a far more iconic comic book character than all of the above other than Banner and Gordon, to the list?

I’m sure if the DCEU was as huge as Marvel HT would invest in Amanda, especially if they made Coulson of all people.

Yep…well each one of those figures ultimately sold out so fortunately for some of us Hot Toys doesn’t decide what to make based upon any one collector’s opinion of what works.

Me too. Probably one of the best scenes in the film:

It made me want a red dress version instead of the other one.

Ditto. Going into the movie, I was all in on the red/black Harley outfit, but that scene has me seriously considering getting the red dress version instead (and I expect HT will make both because it's Harley).

With King Shark actually being made, now I'm hoping HT does Ratcatcher (and Sebastian) too. I didn't think I'd go further than Harley with this line, but there was a ton of heart in the movie, and I loved it enough to dedicate a whole shelf to it. Polka Dot Man would be ridiculously awesome (but probably not happening). Not much interest in Peacemaker or Bloodsport though (great as they were).

They definitely won’t be making Bloodshot…they don’t make figures of non-existent characters.

This isn't from my Disney/LFL source, but someone they know, so I can't vouch on the validity of this, but apparently another figure is being worked on. I heard the same thing a few weeks back. My guess again is that it is Harley.

I'd take a Harley in her first outfit (maybe in the dress as well, if it was really well done) and a Bloodsport, definitely (with an top quality unmasked head so I can use it to make a Luther custom). King Shark I'll have to pick up, too. Was definitely surprised not to be gouged on that one by Hot Toys. I'd also grab Ratcatcher (II) if they made one, which I wouldn't have predicted prior to seeing the film. And I'd still like a Captain Boomerang, damn it.

That would about do me, I think.

The film (and Viola Davis) absolutely nailed Waller this time around, but as great as she was here she just wouldn't fit into my display.

Such a fantastic look and a real shame that she barely stayed in it past the opening credits.
