Interestingly, I never cared much for the first Terminator until I was older. I actually liked T2 a lot more as a youngster. Ah, the foolishness of youth!

It has to do with representation of favourite movie license in my collection. I am not a collector that buys many HT throughout the year (maybe 1 to 3). I do really like BD T1 but I do feel that representation of “TERMINATOR” movies has already been filled with Tech Noir, Dx10, DX13, T-1000 and T-600 endo. It’s a tough “collecting” choice but I am deciding (not confirmed) that the BD T1 money can be used on another license I do not have currently displayed (i.e.. Robocop, Ripley and DX15)
It has nothing to do with the movies or which is better because our opinions/experiences will be all different!

And when I was younger I liked Terminator more than T2. But then when I got older, I liked them both equally. But then when I contributed to sideshowcollectors.com, I liked T2 more.

OK new game…Name a sequel to a movie that was just 100% terrible. Complete night and day from the original. Unwatchable/forgetable.
So the original was terrible, but the sequel wasn't? Or the original was good and sequel terrible? There are a laundry list of the latter.

So wait, is it that the sequel is just a carbon copy of the original and therefore inferior -- like the Hangover example above -- or is it that the sequel has to be completely different?
If the latter, then JAWS 3D is a prime example.

Robocop 2. Some good stuff but the film overall blows. 3 was also crap but if we're talking immediate successors to a great original....
Return to Oz is misunderstood. . .as is the Wiz.
