And with that budget, the effects hold up.

Can't say the same about T1 with all that in your face fakery. Those Arnold puppets . . . dayum. Only thing that looks good these days is the full size Endo. I'd say the plot of T2 kills T1's in terms of humanity too. Those nuclear nightmares can't be ebay and side characters like Miles Dyson are much more developed than say, Ginger *snicker* or Lt. traxler. :lol

Eh, the same can be said of the original SW trilogy. T2 had the budget and was made at the right time for tech. Though when watching today, all the time spent glamorizing T1000's shape shifting isn't anything special.

For me T1 all the way. The T-800 and kills in the first movie were so brutal and scary it was like a real life scenario. T1 T-800 is just bad ass. T2 yeah it had it's moments with both T-800 and T-1000 but you can't top the almighty T1. Oh and the Police shoot out scene rocks even though I love the Tech noir scene. What a movie T1 is. One of my favorite movies of all time.

It's like watching an 8-bit Nintendo game by today's standards.

"How are you supposed to know? F...... men like you built the hydrogen bomb. Men like you thought it up. You think you're so creative. You don't know what it's like to really create something; to create a sequel; to see a machine growing and learning not to kill. All you know how to create is death...and destruction..."

:lol

Kuat...KUAT!! Let try to be a little more constructive here ok!

"I know now why you cry. You've watched Terminator 3. But it's something I can never do."

T2s only crime as far as I'm concerned was setting the franchise on the course that led to T3. T3 is the awful horrible way to do what T2 did well.

In any case this bickering is pointless (as usual), and only serves to push either side further from agreeing with the other.

That's not T2's fault, that was just the producers being cheap and trying to recapture Judgment Day's magic by ripping it off (badly).

I don't know why Arnold went ahead without Cameron. Guess he didn't read the script and/or didn't care what the whole thing is about.

I'm sure it went down like this.

Producer: "So whatcha think about the script for T3 Arnie baby?"

Arnold: "James isn't working on T3 and it's a stupid script; I'm out!"

Producer: "We'll double your salary from T2..."

Arnold: "I'm back!"

It's really hard to conceive of T5 as being anything other than T3 2.0 in the making. Only aspect I'm looking forward to from a Terminator movie perspective is if they really pull a BTTF II on it and show T1 playing out from a different perspective. I'd love to actually see the Tech Noir T-800 walking around again even if it has to be a human or CG double doing it. Then again I remember getting excited about the idea in T3 that the TX could take control of the T-800 and that ended up being one of the most embarrassingly bad scenes in that film.

He probably read it and immediately thought it was "supah" and "fantastic".

Probably didn't question anything like the "850" name change, strip club with macho man playing in the background, gay strippers, Elton John sunglasses, etc.

I've never heard Arnold refer to the 'T-800', he just calls it the Terminator. Newb. Does he even lift when it comes to Terminator knowledge?
