I like the big head, and this is the only Terminator I will be getting as the others are just to inflated, and the sculpt on this one is just too detailed and good. I was going to display him with Robo, so I would never notice a difference. I hated small heads of the past like Two Face from Dark Knight, so big head I like better. I'm not **** enough to care really.

Since you dont own any previous terminator i can understand that but even if it was the only one in my collection (and so far its almost like it since i have only this one out the rest is in their boxes) as a figure itself without comparing he just look badly proportionned with that big head.
The Neck padding does help a bit.
Hot toys did a great upgrade of the MMS02... Too bad they kept the retarded proportions.

Great collection Ecko :)

Great collection Ecko :)

Like I said its the only Terminator I can get at the moment if I could have gotten DX13 I would have, but just can't afford em all :(, plus my real fav. movie is on my avatar been waiting since hot toys came on the scene for that one.

Ended up having very little time to play with my new toy but did get a good look at him.

Love the fully BD head -- the detail is incredible, especially the fact you can see inside the jaw to the point where you can see the beginning of ENDO TEETH! So cool!

I was really impressed by the sculpts and the jacket. In hand -- at scale -- the detail work being so small is just so impressive. I get used to the pictures posted here -- blown up 10 times -- and its easy to find fault, like a piston that's out of place, but that all goes away once its in your hand.

At least it goes away at first.

Anyway, the only real negs for me: the way the pants fit -- not sure if its the pants or the slim torso or both --- and the jagged saw-tooth cut across the hairline to operate the light-up feature. Oh, and that silly Barbie dog collar around the boot. ALL MINOR NITS.

Overall, I really love this Terminator -- my new fav of course.

Crap-tastic pics with old camera in soft-focus (beat that)...

I don't know about you but it looks good even with the crappy pics especially the headsculpt pics. Still gotta wait 2 months for this guy, its going to kill me to look at all these pics. at least I have Robo to tide me over till he gets here.

Just got mine! Looks especially good to me because it was free :) won it on twitter from a chicky contest.

Having had the DX13, the headsculpt, mostly the eyes, are definitely not up to the same par, but the figure is great. Wish the arms moved more and that the hands held the guns more straight on, but the guns are awesome. Very cool figure but it does make me miss my DX13 quite a bit.

congrats on the pick up, I have seen mostly all reviews on the figure and peeps on the forum about displaying the full BD head and didnt agree. But having it in hand the detail is great on the full damaged head, quite surprised.

Cool pics man, glad you like him, he's my fav Terminator so far. The dx13 T2 is great obviously, but I like this Terminator look more. Just feels more interesting to me. Yeah the pants and boots are a bit off, the huge thighs and ass make the pants hang badly IMO. But as you say minor quibbles.

This figure is my favourite terminator figure also. It has really grown on me. I have a few minor niggles such as the lapels not been sewn on very tight and losing the strap for the zipper but other then that awesome figure.

Congrats to all who are receiving him in! Looks fantastic! Friday for me but probably no pictures until Saturday.

Pics or that didnt happen ;)
So his does it look on you frankensteined body?

Figure is a great base but seriously guys swap the body and it shines.
Even the pants work great, i still need to put the vest tho.
Im considering buying another one, would people be interested by the body?

Well, I'm not making a scene specific figure, as his outfit was completely thrashed when he came out from under the truck. I'm going somewhere in between.
I'm adjusting the pants a bit too. But IMO the thinner thighs help the overall proportion of the figure.

I will post some pics when I'm done..

Glad to hear your happy with him WG, that's always a strong endorsement in my book :lecture

I'll be getting mine today, this is a figure that's been on my most wanted list since I started collecting... glad HT finally did it and looks like they did it justice.

Definitely looking forward to your finished figure... the legs and fit of the pants is odd looking, so hopefully you're able to fix that up.

Got my figure yesterday and only had time to get it out the box and on the shelf. Overall, this is one fantastic T-800. As Wor-Gar said, the Endo teeth are a cool detail. I found myself really examining every nook and cranny of the damaged head. Can't wait to get my second figure and complete my Terminator collection - until a diecast Endo is announced anyway.

Question: Is the jacket leather? Feels like it is to me. Where the DX13 jacket feels like a more stiff material, the MMS238 jacket is soft like the DX10.
