I don't know about you but it looks good even with the crappy pics especially the headsculpt pics.

congrats on the pick up.

Cool pics man, glad you like him, he's my fav Terminator so far.

Glad to hear your happy with him WG, that's always a strong endorsement in my book :lecture

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I'll get better pics up this weekend when I have some real playtime in daylight.

But I think most everyone will be truly happy with this figure, comparing it to a DX or not. If you can stretch out the pants a bit or stuff his waist a bit and close that jacket, I think the "pants" problem likely goes away. If you're going for the open jacket look then its probably going to require some good futzing and some good stretching to get that shirt to hang down some more to look right. But I think its all doable.

Now... do I dare attempt my have-ass version of Rory's 'dead-skin' mod...?

I found myself really examining every nook and cranny of the damaged head.

Yes! I did he same thing. The way they did the skin texture against the shiny silver metal, the glistening blood that really glistens, the splashes of blood on the ear, the tire skidmark on the forehead... and the intricate detail inside the ripped open jaw. Just insane work to the naked eye.

I must have missed this... any chance I can get a link rather than search back through the thread?

I have no idea where it is now, but I have a picture...

Rory's amazing repainted T1 10-8-14 (7).jpg

Oh man... that looks soo good, I had planned on doing something like that, but leave it to Rory to have already scaled that mountain :lol

Well, I'm not making a scene specific figure, as his outfit was completely thrashed when he came out from under the truck. I'm going somewhere in between.
I'm adjusting the pants a bit too. But IMO the thinner thighs help the overall proportion of the figure.

I will post some pics when I'm done..

Cant wait :)

I managed to make some pics with the iPad that gave a closer view of the proportion once i swapped the body with a MOS torso + TTM20 legs + normal foot pegs. Everything else is from the mms238, too bad that vest is too short (even for the original body).

Thanks Rory... stellar work. You made the figure look exactly how I wanted, now there is no way I can live with the stock figure :lol

Got my figure yesterday and only had time to get it out the box and on the shelf. Overall, this is one fantastic T-800. As Wor-Gar said, the Endo teeth are a cool detail. I found myself really examining every nook and cranny of the damaged head. Can't wait to get my second figure and complete my Terminator collection - until a diecast Endo is announced anyway.

Question: Is the jacket leather? Feels like it is to me. Where the DX13 jacket feels like a more stiff material, the MMS238 jacket is soft like the DX10.

Congrats, the full BD head is my favorite of the 2, I to will be creating the second look when my second figure arrives, I put it on flex so I'll get it in december:impatient:

As for the jacket I get what your saying, it does feel most like the DX10 leather but seeing as they failed to state its real leather and looking at the holes in it I would say its not, but I'm not sure etherway, I also didn't notice the smell of leather.

I ordered this at Sideshow using Flex Pay plan, but today I got an email asking if I wanted to have them charge the remaining balance and ship it our early. I jumped at the offer and said "Yes!" I haven't heard back from them yet, but I'm hoping this means I'll get this guy in the next week or two instead of December.
