if anyone wants to use tape, I suggest 3M micropore, it also comes in the perfect width and doesn't degrade. Every pharmacy has it, very useful for futzing generally.

I'll keep this in mind. I got my scheduled to charge Nov 10th.

Had the figure for a few weeks now, finally got around to futzing it and stuffing the neck. A world of difference! As much as I like my dx13, I'd say this is the definitive terminator figure.

Yep, adding thickness to the neck makes a world of difference. Great mods and posing there.

^thanks! I didn't do much with the jacket tho, just snipped the threads holding the collar off and futzed em against his neck. Wish I could flatten out his lapels tho, to make it look even better.

Thats why I don't **** with my figs, sometimes, now those faults are going to bug you more than the neck, if you are OCD like me that is.

I dont think im that bad, but yeah I was pretty pissed!! started looking for jackets on ebay going price is about $50. What made it worse is seeing all the postings prior to getting him, I had convinced myself to leave him alone. But decided to stuff a little cotton on the shoulders and after awhile i was getting confident of the ruggedness of the jacket. Didnt notice it till I finished posing him. But went to bed convinced myself "no big deal"......till I read your post THANKS!! ...lol. Ill just get a jacket later on.

Just sucks you got to put out this kinda money to only have to modify it yourself to making it right... no figure is perfect, but having such a scrawny neck on Arnold should immediately raise an eyebrow or two in the HT development dept. It isn't like they're not familiar with him.

Ahaha well if you must know I did pull the back of the collar up as much as I could and pressed it tightly against the back of his head and neck. I have noticed something with this figure though that I don't think has been brought up, which is the fact that the gargoyles don't cover the endo eye completely? It's been kinda bugging me and I had to futz with the placement of the glasses constantly.

Thanks, I wanted to get the Legends studio light kit from SSC to be able to direct the light easier but there still on pre order. So I just placed the ikea light dioder kit diagonally and covered half of them with black cardboard.

I was like I just purchased this for 2 something and now i want to replace a major component of my purchase. I've had multiple figures with torn off buttons and such so I know how you feel man. Gotta say the neck mod is the end all be all of mods for this figure though, you'll definitely have a much better looking figure at the end of it. [emoji106]

Almost going to try the neck mod, because I noticed the neck issue on the straight shots but I was getting frustrated because I managed to lose a button from his lapel and broke one end of the leather straps that are on the zippers!!

Did the exact same thing in that I broke a button lose from the lapel and broke one of the leather straps off the zipper. I'm not buying a spare jacket though because they cost about 50 dollars. I just got someone I know to sew the button back on and I can live without the leather straps on the zipper because it isn't there in the prototype pics and im pretty sure it wasn't there in the movie either.

I hate futzing, but sometimes it makes all the difference. I'm definitely filling the neck when I get it.

yea I didnt think it was a big deal but just looking at your pics, its definitely a big diff. I just took some pics of him straight on, and in person I didnt really notice how thin it really is till I looked at the pics. Thanks for the pics it made me a believer!! lol

yea it wouldnt have been so bad if I had noticed it right away so i could recover it, but by the time I noticed I had already went all over the house with him in hand. I guess Ill have to assume he lost it in battle! lol well at least till i get a replacement.
