Too hard to tell at this point, not really happy about seeing the T-1000 again to be honest
That's my fault, just figured most who have this figure would at least be interested in seeing the new teaser trailer
I don't think you can make that sort of judgement call on what is only a 15 sec clip. It may turn out to be epic.

That's exactly right, this film is supposed to change the time line and outcome of the whole series.

totally. That and it's too difficult to write a sequel - there simply is no need for t2 to have one hence t3 and salvation not really working

Nope he wouldn't give NECA his likeness for them figures, I read about it, can't remember now as it was ages ago.

I just don't think that's true, like I said, it's nowhere near Hot Toys Level of likeness, but NECA's looks like Biehn enough that if they didn't have rights there's no way it could be that close. It looks more like Biehn than their T-1000's look like Robert Patrick whose likeness comes with the T2 license.

I can't honestly say that without the outfit I would recognize that headsculpt as Biehn. The mouth a bit, but not the rest. Would be interesting to get some definitive proof one way or another. I'm always curious when an actor doesn't lend out their likeness rights. Seems like money for nothing so I'd be curious in regards to Biehn's motivations, if true.

I'll try find the article but he's very protective about his likeness, this was discussed around the time Aliens the game came out and how he'd be in it and then Far Cry Blood Dragon.

Well that could be a interesting movie, so does that mean the Tech noir Terminator is going to get destroyed early on? And instead they have to fight a T1000 in the 80's? A different twist on the story without rebooting it, and still using Arnold.
JJ Abrams Star Trek opened a whole new can of worms with his reboot, wonder if we'll see more films done the same way.

I happen to think that's one of NECAs weaker sculpts but I'm pretty sure they did have his likeness permission both for this and the Aliens figures. If they don't have likeness rights they don't make the figures. See the rest of the USCMs from Aliens so far.
