i bought a pair of yellow effects (inspired by a-dev picture) so i don't need my red anymore. pity i took their bottoms out, i could sell them for smaller price :)

Still haven't received my other yellow flame effects. No idea if it has even left China yet. Meanwhile some Han Solo trigger hands* I ordered apparently left Hong Kong on the 27th of february and somehow still haven't arrived in Ireland. They must be doing some arseways tour of Europe before they get to me.

*my long quest to find some Hot Toys trigger hands that actually look natural holding a gun. John Matrix had a good one but unfortunately it's got bodybuilder fake tan all over it. I'm trying other candidates.

I decided to open up and look at this figure again and as I stated above it's still great. One thing is my batteries are dead so I took them out so no corroding happens and second the gargoyles somehow got loose in the packaging and are warped a little. Luckily the thin parts did not break. I was afraid they were but nope all is good and if you let it sit on the head overtime will go back to normal shape. Again awesome figure.

Might aswell remove the batteries in mine aswell. I don't think a single one of them works anymore.

What's funny is I also opened my DX13 and the batteries still work like new and I still removed those. Hot Toys gave us some ****** batteries for this figure. Barely lasted at all and I rarely even lit up the eyes on both sculpts.

I'm tempted to pick this guy up. I would be right around $200. Is that worth it? There seems to be an awful lot of displeasure with this figure, and a lot of good. My ultimate want is a T2 Steel Mill T-800, but those are far beyond my price range now. I wouldn't be overly keen on nodding the figure...can I make him look good sans mods for normal shelf display?

I only thickened the neck on the two I have, and I'm happy with it. Although other fellas around here could give you plenty of advice how to go overboard with trying to make it even more accurate.

I actually just used some folded paper. I was more concerned with the width of the sides than widening it completely around. The battery hatch is a little temperamental and if you make it too thick, it will be pushed out from the head.

Tape the neck, naw, KP02 swap!

I presume that was just the electrical tape mod P. Had been passing around?
it was for biggening the whole torso and building the proportions.

for people who want to thicken the neck only it's enough to just fill the neck with paper without taking the rubber "skin" vest off. or replacing the body with KP02 as said above.

Actually got those Han Solo hands today^ great gun holding hands but, again, tanned. WTF. Not as bad as the skintone on John Matrix but nevertheless still overly tanned. I guess I now know what people have been talking about of late. Cop on with this crap Hot Toys. Lets not go back to the MMS01 ''you know when you've been tango'd'' skin colour.

The particular version of the KP02 in the picture is an extremely bad choice in this case since it's severly tanned. The older harder to find KP02 with the skinny legs is the one to get.

''you know when you've been tango'd''

I had forgotten about that commercial. Flashback to the good old days when it was possible to watch Sky without joining organized crime.

important info.
so glad i didn't buy 5 of them at once and went with modifying the existing torso!

So annoying, time and time again.

Obviously the ideal would be to not have the MMS238 display base there but the figure won't stand without it and for the time being I'm not bothered trying to find another way.

This is so badass!!! I love how you added some flames in front and behind him - really sells that he is walking out of the fire. Is that the original Hot Toys Endo? Looks more chromed out that I remember. It was the lack of chrome that didn't entice me to buy it in the first place. This I would have bought.
