Should be good!!! where did you get that price? 623usd is a lot, I was hoping maybe at least 475usd. I don't think the shield is problem, for me is the EMS shipping cost probably over 100bucks.

Where does it say the Yen price? I didn't see that.

I never saw it full size due to my javascript extension blocking it. It looked like 50000 next to pre-order. Now full size it looks like S with two 00's. That makes no sense. As from looking at the pricing of Yen on hobbylink Japan.

They call the Shields a Special feature not an Exclusive extra so I cant imagine it's something you're only going to get via shopping with SS

I'm also thinking that the Sheild is just going to be a vacuum packed mould much like the Batman cowls you find holding the separate mouth pieces in the figures. Might be wrong though :dunno

Is this like a Batman & Returns Batmobile all in one or is it really just the returns batmobile. I may have forgotten but did we not see that base turntable drop out the bottom of the batmobile until returns came out?

:exactly::goodpost:
Right you are sir! A few months ago lots of people were saying that it "looks too short", and I posted all of the possible different 1/6 scale size ranges the Batmobile...(there are several conflicting measurements available from official sources). It turns out that at 39" L and 16" W, this EXACTLY matches one of the possible measurements I posted back then.

It is still on the shortest possible end of the length range of the published specs. The reality is that there is only one length of the Batmobile, since it can't be both 39 inches AND 46 inches long at this scale, depending upon what is convenient. I think the guns should provide a good objective reference to scale. 30 caliber browning machine guns are a certain size, as are Ferrari Testarossa taillights. I really hope this is $500 or less. I might buy two at that price. The official specs are 260.7 inches long or 43.45 inches long at 1/6 scale, and that is what I believe to be 100% correct.

wow this thing is looking more and more amazing. i typically dont get into this kind of thing, as in i dont ussually look into vehicles in 1/6 scale but WOW. this is just, amazing. big question now is, how much will it be, and do i even have the space for something like this??

Im currently looking for display options!! having the tumbler and the batmobile will take aloooooooot of space.

I really don't like the shield. Would anyone want to buy just the shield coz if I do PO this. I don't want the shield. Same as the SS Boba stand!

This thing looks so damn mean and cool.

When my Hot Toys Keaton Batman arrived I acted like a hyperactive child, tearing right into it and spending hours admiring it. What the hell am I going to do with this thing?

Lately, the hobby hasn't really done that much for me, but damn, when it rains it pours? Has anyone really given that much thought to owning Batman, the Joker AND THIS in one room, all together after more than two decades? It's crazy. I know, like with Batman it doesn't really sink in until it's on your doorstep and you see it up close and in hand.

I know money and space is an issue for everyone and I'll definitely be losing quite a bit on both but I'd like to think, after it's all said and done that this '89 collection is really worth it. Personally, I thought they were going to half ass everything when they first announced the license, but that obviously isn't the case here.

The dimensions on the Batmobile are in the ball park of what I had hoped for, it has all the features it should have from lights to gadgets/weapons, the shields are a great surprise (I'm using it as a dust cover, it'll be easier to maintain and dust with that over top of it) and it actually has ACCURATE yellow headlights instead of the red/orange ones. There's really nothing I can complain about. This is way more than what I expected when the prototype first debuted last summer.

I'm going to preorder as soon as it's made available, price be damned. This will probably be my last great hurrah when it comes to this stuff anyway.
