I thought I saw somewhere that SS is planing to make a 1/6 scale batcave diorama! Can anyone tell my if this will happen??

I really cant see this be too much more expensive than the ~$500 tumbler. I mean HT has to price it within that range. Guess we will find out soon enough

Do we know if the Hot Toys Batmobile will feature working head and tail lights? The ad mentions a light up interior.

Extremely doubtful. Maybe a 1/6 environment, like a computer console would be nice. Dios are not as big as 1/6th.

I really want Batman's suit/weaponry vault. That seems like it would be right up Hot Toys' alley.

The iconography, the display options, the ability to store all of his gadgets/weapons as well as the figure itself makes it a no-brainer.

Not sure about the computer console though, that would be a little too much.

This thing looks so damn mean and cool.

When my Hot Toys Keaton Batman arrived I acted like a hyperactive child, tearing right into it and spending hours admiring it. What the hell am I going to do with this thing?

Lately, the hobby hasn't really done that much for me, but damn, when it rains it pours? Has anyone really given that much thought to owning Batman, the Joker AND THIS in one room, all together after more than two decades? It's crazy. I know, like with Batman it doesn't really sink in until it's on your doorstep and you see it up close and in hand.

I know money and space is an issue for everyone and I'll definitely be losing quite a bit on both but I'd like to think, after it's all said and done that this '89 collection is really worth it. Personally, I thought they were going to half ass everything when they first announced the license, but that obviously isn't the case here.

The dimensions on the Batmobile are in the ball park of what I had hoped for, it has all the features it should have from lights to gadgets/weapons, the shields are a great surprise (I'm using it as a dust cover, it'll be easier to maintain and dust with that over top of it) and it actually has ACCURATE yellow headlights instead of the red/orange ones. There's really nothing I can complain about. This is way more than what I expected when the prototype first debuted last summer.

I'm going to preorder as soon as it's made available, price be damned. This will probably be my last great hurrah when it comes to this stuff anyway.

Well said man. What about if (err...when;)) they announce the 89 Batwing and 92 Batmissle?

Realistically, I'd probably have to pass. As far as vehicles go, the '89 Batmobile and the Batpod are enough for me.

Things like the Tumbler, TDKR Batwing, Batmissile and Batskiboat are vehicles I'm not even remotely interested in. The Batmissile is cool as a toy with a gimmick, like the Batman Returns Batmissile Batmobile, but for an expensive 1/6 model, it's kind of odd. Would it really look good on display?

The '89 Batwing would be TOUGH. Other than the Batpod and '89 Batmobile it's the only one that I'd love to own. But space would definitely be an issue with those wings.

Right now I'm content with what I have and what's to come. I'm positive the '89 Batwing is very close to being shown, but I might just have to admire the specs and photos for now. It's just not feasible for me at the moment unless I get rid of stuff. Though, the thought of Batman behind the console, in the cockpit aiming his sights down at the Joker in 1/6 scale glory is exciting to think about.

i agree, the batwing, boat etc would be too much. the batmobile though? thats almost a given if your to have any batman vehicles. i also have the kenner batskitboat, batmissle batmobile etc. but a 1/6 batmobile is like :thud:

wow this thing is looking more and more amazing. i typically dont get into this kind of thing, as in i dont ussually look into vehicles in 1/6 scale but WOW. this is just, amazing. big question now is, how much will it be, and do i even have the space for something like this??

Well said, i'm the same, i want the Returns Batman figure, and don't have space for this let alone the money, but i've found myself pining for it cos it's just so perdy :lol

That brings up a good point, which Batman will get this Batmobile in my collection?

'89 Batman,

or Returns Batman,

:horror

I know this is stupid, but all the little things like, I don't know putting that Batmobile communicator that's included in Batman's hands and pretending he activates the shields or make it "Stop" is going to make me geek out.

The kid in me would have loved to have seen and owned this stuff. Even these little things, like the scenario above would have been things that I would have pretended are now fully realized and real. It's going to be tough to resist contorting the Batman figure so that it sits in the Batmobile. If I didn't have any qualms about the rubber or QC of the body/suit I would definitely do it. Damn OCD.

lol i know, for me this is the batmobile of all batmobiles. sure i liked the Forever one too, but no batmobile past or present has come even remotely close to this beauty. if there was ever one car i wish i could own, its this one.

I was going to pass on this but it is growing on me. Has the price been confirmed or has it all be speculation? At any rate I can't wait for pre-orders to start showing up.

Sweetzombiejebus it looks cool in that pic.

Do I buy a Batman to go with it or wait for some vague time in the future when the Returns figures are finally released....
