I know I'm one to talk, but what would you do with 2?

Oh god, its basically 1 meter long and 40cm wide.
1 METER !!

No idea at all where I'd put this.

:rotfl @ Difabio

Not laughing at you in the mean bully boy sense but saying ROTFL with Difabio would have sounded a bit...well...

I said if the '89 Batmobile was $500 shipped or less I'd contemplate two. Even though that is crazy, ridiculous and excessive. This is it for me, I'm never doing this again. Really, the only purchases I've made for the hobby lately have been Spider-Man, Reeve Ex. Superman, x2 of the Batman Begins Ex. and Keaton Batman. They've been spaced out very well so far. I'm thankful I'm not into the Avengers or other lines, I couldn't afford it at all.

The only thing on my radar is, from things revealed so far, another Keaton Batman, two Nicholson Jokers this Batmobile and their upcoming Robocop.

I'm sure Batman Returns figures, DX 2.0 Joker and more Terminator figures are a long ways off.

You have to look at the Batmobile as if its a sculpture. Compared to actual sculptures of this size, it will probably be very reasonably priced :monkey3

At least with this Batmobile, the shield can act as a dust cover. Won't have to worry about finding a way to cover it for display as much.

I'm sure HT thinks that's worth an extra 150 right there...

Nah I could really do without the cocoon for a cheaper price. Just no way I'd display it over the Batmobile and seperately - not worth the space it would take up.

This whole time I convinced myself that I didn't need it, but dammit I'm tempted now. I really have no idea where the hell I would put it though. :gah:

____ that Cocoon crap, what idiot would cover up a car they just payed for with a kidney.

One that doesn't want the car to be dusty while it's out on display?

Does it matter what the vehicle looks like when nobody's around to see it? I don't care if I'm at work and the car is covered in armor, unseen. When I want to look at it or take pics or have someone over to see it, I'll just say, "SHIELDS OPEN" and take the friggin thing off. Better than having it on display without it and having to worry about the enemy known as dust making it's way into all the sculpted details and sticking to the vehicle.

Idiots.

In anticipation of the '89 Batmobile, I've been wondering where the screen used Batmobile's are now? I figure there in a garage at Warner Bros. Would be cool if some curator brought them out from time to time.

Don't look at me, i'm buying the cocoon. :lol

Good point but I didn't have a problem dusting my Tumbler yesterday, I'll do it with the 89 too. Wierd sentence.

You're just a rabble rouser. That's what you are. :lol

BUT...I know just where you're coming from when it comes to covering it up. I want to be able to walk into my toy room and see it without having to lift a cover off everytime. Kinda like, um, I don't know, every other collectible I own.

So this will either be going in a display case or dusted regularly with some canned air.
