Grand Moff Tarkin - Director Krennic - Moff Gideon, potentially Grand Admiral Thrawn on the way. Hot Toys SW exclusively got all the cool protagonists (with the Sith).

Likeness looks a bit off. Looks strange in some shots but better in others. Don't care much at all about the character though. Hasn't really done anything in the two seasons that makes me want a figure of him. Cool of Hot Toys to do more villains.

I agree I'm still waiting for him to really do something... but his uniform is pretty cool. Not sure if he's an officer or a pilot in that mishmash... but I like it.

RO clean stormtroopers coming but we all knew that. I like it and really like the dark saber but something looks off. Will not rush to order.

After the Krennic fiasco, I'm not taking any chances here.
No need to rush to order with a Release date of Q2–Q3, 2022. Add in delays and it's two years form shipping.

Yeah, I don't know why but I'm not quite feeling it either. His eyes are a little dead. They've got two years and I'm sure it'll be a little different once released.
I just realized he doesn't come with a light up saber, not that I'd use it all the time, but the unique way the Darksaber is realized, it would've been good for the light up feature. For the swinging blade I would've preferred that crackling to go all throughout the blade.

Wouldn't worry about it there are articles out where Giancarlo talks about the prop guys getting alarmed because he got into the fighting and kept breaking Darksabers. So we know he's getting into it with Din D'jarin probably. Either this week or S3.
Not rushing to PO with these long wait times tho.

It’s a very Gus Fring look. Intimidating but calm. I’m very impressed that captured that.

That about sums it up for me as well. There's just something not quite right.
edit : OK, here's a comparison I found, Too round face I think is the main issue. Needs to be a bit longer. But way better than the other offering.....

The gun holster looks a bit strange. Not Hot Toys fault, but I assume the real costume looks like that.
It's like they jammed the gun with site in a holster that was too small.
But it's only a small nitpick.
His pistol definitely isn't as cool or extravagant as Krennics

I'm actually glad they added a wire to the cape. I like giving capes some movement.
Yeah it feels to me like either the face isn't gaunt enough, or the features are way too pronounced. Not exactly sure what the problem is, all I know is that custom Gus Fring sculpt from a few weeks back completely blows it out of the water.
I could still probably live with it, since the overall look of the figure still works well, but I really hope they'll make some tweaks before release.
