I’ve been stalling ordering this waiting for HT to fully reveal their s2 version. I just wish they would make an accessory pack to switch the armor pieces out. Who am I kidding, I’m gonna end up getting this one:gah:

I'm excited that this got moved up and is potentially shipping relatively soon. It has a ton of cool and essential accessories that also elevate the V1 Mando.

After seeing the last episode I?m pretty convinced that we?ll see a Mando with head sculpt fairly soon... Makes me wonder if I should cancel this one since I already have v1 and don?t want more than two versions of him [emoji848]

He would need a REALLY good reason to take his helmet off so i doubt it will be soon. He is still far from accepting that type of behavior so i would guess next season at the earliest.
He just needed the info to get the child to the Jedi is the only reason he helped them but he was not ok with them taking their helmets off

My guess is last episode this season. Just a guess of course. But he?ll come around I?m sure.

Definitely will happen but it would be a really quick turnaround for him this season for something he has believed for so long. Keeping the helmet on is really a massive part of who he is so and with how slow this show is paced i would guess late next seaon or more towards the end of the series. They will want to make it a big deal.

Something happens and he needs to make a choice ;) ...just guesswork

I hope Mando keeps the helmet on for the majority of the remainder of the show even if he does accept removing it. I think it’s been ballsy to have barely shown the actor’s face. Marvel or anything else with characters that wear masks or helmets always likes to find excuses to show the actor or actress’s faces.

As far as the figure- personally I’m still waiting to see what we get from season two. Even though with this version seemingly set to drop soon it’s tempting.

Raylan went without Boba’s helmet for all but 2 scenes in the entire Krayt episode.

I prefer characters take their buckets off when it makes sense. Personally, I think never removing your helmet in front of anyone is super impractical. I don’t need to see Pascal’s face every episode, but it would be nice to see some actual face time between Mando and the Child. (Which I’m sure we’ll get at some point)

I’m just saying. Most movies or shows don’t allow characters who are supposed to wear helmets keep them on. It’s nice that this show does.

Exactly but it will be big. They guy was willing to die a few episodes ago instead of taking the helmet off.

Well it's a big thing to wrap your mind around, that what you thought as truth is viewed as being a zealot by others who are fighting to restore Mandalore. This show is great about not pounding things to the ground, but I like to think that's why Mando was walking the dock. Thinking. Because what he had been told would have been troubling.

Especially in Season 1 he said he felt grateful to the Mandalorians who took care of him.

But figure he'd still wear the helmet in any fight like the other Mandos, unless there's a face to face with Moff Gideon or other. They could explore the idea of how much armor really does make you a Mandalorian. Like having a light saber doesn't make you a Jedi.

I bet it's forcefully removed, then he's shunned by the armorer etc saying he's no longer a mandalorian, but he knows he still is so just continues on doing his thing freed from that confine

I still am of the mind that he's gonna save the child with his helmet somehow. Baby Yoda would fit in there perfectly, and with how impenetrable it is, it seems like a good instance of Deus Ex Machina to get out of a situation.
