I just wish for toys would improve the light up bits.
I won’t be displaying it with lights on because it’s hard work.
I have Vader wired up but..

I never use the electronics on figures.

I used to go through the process of putting batteries in to test them when they arrive, but I don't even bother doing that now.

I’m guessing the broken part with the cables at the bottom is like a plug that comes off in the same way the legs do.

Should be interesting to see how the super battle damaged version looks with legs.

I was trying to work out whether those wires would have to be unplugged, or whether they'd slot down into the recess.

But I think you're right, because the wires would have to be down into the top of the legs, judging how far down the torso has to go.

Presumably it's a fairly sturdy plug since the pole has to slot into it.

Which means I guess the clean upper body could be displayed floating if you insert the damaged one's plug into it and put it on the pole and stand.

I'm impressed you got your Pit Droids to stand unaided. I had to use little stands for mine.

And the Power Droid showing off his cash over there...

DT looks a bit small to me. He seemed much bigger than Mando in the fight.

Maybe I'll keep Gideon on the short side so its more dramatic.

It understandable some see as it bionicle robots but I see it as Star Wars T800

thanks to @MasterRazzerr76 now I can see Dark Trooper is as tall as Heavy Mando. I initially thought DT must be as tall as IG-11.

I was planning on getting this one, thinking that he was a must-have, especially paired up with Luke or Gideon but now I'm leaning towards passing on it. As Wor-Gar mentioned, it appears to be shorter than expected. Not as impressive, to be honest.

Definitely was an impulse buy at the time... and I'm less interested now, especially with the height.

That said, I am happy to see some real detail on this guy and that the thighs can drop down a bit -- for some extra height. Also happy the joints are diecast.

Yep, I just checked. They seemed bigger in the show. Bulkier too. Maybe its just my memory.

I just watched a YouTube with every Dark Trooper scene and the figure looks pretty accurate to me standing next to HT Heavy Mando, but the scenes don't exactly give a definitive look. But don't take it from me, judge for yourself.
