I think she looks pretty awesome. Clever how they hide the light up parts of her head band behind her hair. I never noticed she had a scar on her forehead before. I thought it was a vein at first.

Damn these prices are freaking ridiculous. I have seen the writings on the wall for some time now. Its getting harder to justify spending that much on one basic figure. Plus my shelves are bursting lol

I like the sculpt as is. Knowing Hot Toys the final product will be different, so I'm hoping it'll look even better than the one we're seeing here. I still feel burned by what they did to Jyn Erso's face lol

Yeah, that's definitely better. The price turned me off this release especially with that HS. For what we get this is should be $220 at most. Tacking on an extra 60 bucks just because it's a mandolorian figure. No thanks HT!

Want it, but wish it wasn’t $285. Seems like most Mandalorian characters will probably fetch higher prices. Will still pre-order at some point.

As someone who's wanted a 1/6 Bo Katan since the cartoon, I'm at peace with the price to display her like this. That headsculpt will never see the light of day anyway after I pop it off for the helmet and put it back in the box.

From watching Clone Wars and Rebels she was always stern and angry so its fine with me. Shes way more chipper in Mando than she was in CW/Rebels.

The sculpt reminds me a lot more of what Katee would look like as Bo-Katan from the animated series and I like that more. I'm not knocking Katee for being chipper in Mandalorian, she was excellent, but her people were slaughtered and she lost the Darksaber. There's not much she should be chipper about.

Yeah, it's high - but looking carefully at the images on HT's site - there's a friggin' lot of detailing going on here. Lots of weathering, topstitching, inset material (pleather/leather). And Bo-Katan has that cool helmet and the color - nice contrast with Mando.

Passed on the Death Watch and talked myself out the Heavy Gunner, so I DESERVE this.

Leaning heavily towards ordering, if not right away. (Tho, as I assemble my Mando shelves - not having Cara is always gonna irritate me)





Can't say having these two on the shelf wouldn't be awesome. B@st@rds. $$$$

Though it looks like they reduced her bust to appease the Twitter mob that doesn't actually watch the show or purchase collectibles.

?? It doesn't look reduced to me, it just looks like that screenshot from the show is a side angle and the other two pictures of the figure is at a 3/4 angle.

That’s not a fair comparison. You need to find similar angled pictures to compare accurately. Her bust even in your pic is rather subtle to me.

And someone else suggested the Krayt Dragon detonator:

I didn't pass on the Death Watch or Heavy Gunner, but I don't think I want another "This is the gray" Mando.

Really want Bo-Katan though. She looks striking with the helmet on.

Yeah. Same. I bet HT had a prototype of her ready to go too *sigh* (I'm surprised the premium format figure is still up for pre-order on Sideshow. If it wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb due to the size difference I'd try my luck ordering that one)

Regarding the Mando s2 figure... they've really done the bare minimum of changes to it, haven't they? There's that belt hook, and the cape is shorter & shredded at the edges. But I was looking at the 1/4 scale version of the season 2 figure and those hip flap things are supposed to be blue (the same blue as his knee guard). They don't appear to have done that for the s2 1/6 figure.

Thank goodness for Boomix and those cheap replacement bits of armour!
