Stock Body:

I cannot believe that is the stock body they put underneath the suit. What the hell were they thinking?:slap
The pieces in his shoulders look like used tissue or toilet paper, and the foam on his abs looks like its from a sweaty jock strap.

Oh, btw, great work Rory!

Ok...why is there paper in the shoulders...are the joints on that body loose??

I think the speculation is that he otherwise would look too thin in the traps/shoulder area (muscle arms used with a narrow shoulder or "regular" TT torso), and the toilet paper offsets that a bit. Pretty inexcusable IMO. I was jonesing for this figure since it was first previewed, but I'm damn close to canceling my pre-order.

I will only spend that kind of money on a figure that is close to perfect right out of the box.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

No they think it somehow "fills the gap" the huge void between the shoulder blades and the ill fitting arms. It doesn't.

It is in excusable, it's as bad as the Men In Black:Kneegate:Enterbay fiasco. :lol

Missed the damn post man. Required a signature so I'm going to pick it up in the morning.
Fool! Really love to hear your thoughts on this, I know you are pretty particular about things. :duff

Well this isn't the one for you mate.

Also meant to say, he has a bit of a mangina. Nothing down below, I've been tempted to stick a piece of foam or something in there,
just can't bring myself around to doing it... (yet) :lol

Great pics Robbie! What do you think of him?
I noticed a few issues (body aside) on yours that mine had as well.
1: The star points dig into the fabric as it's too tight to the chest.
2: a yellow stain on the side of your figure on the white area, mine has one as well, but on the inside of the sleeve.

Not so easy to fix the sculpted hood, giraffe neck and fugly seam down the back.....
Changing bodies helps the massive giraffe neck a lot, one of the issues that makes it look even worse is the slope of the stock shoulders..
The sculpted hood is not fixable, nor the fugly seam at the back.. in fact Robbies pic of the back shows just how badly this has been put together..(hope you don't mind me cropping your pic Robbie)
Look at the shoulders?, the top of the striped section? the seams? the two part star...aaaaaarrrgh.
:(

Just arrived, cant really fault it, really like the colours and the vibe only real downsize he arrived same day as the hulk, so literally he has been overshadowed by the green giant!

Looks pretty cool but still can't see myself getting it for the price it's going for... :(

Personally I don't think it looks all that bad straight out of the box. In fact, I like that it's rough around the edges. As a standalone figure, I probably would have passed. But as part of the overall HT Cap collection, he'll look fine with the rest.

As far as the price, not many HT figures lately out of the gate for under $200. All the new pre-orders are $215. Seems to be the standard...for now.
