Hot Toys- TRON: Legacy: 1/6th scale Kevin Flynn Collectible Figure

Well we got the prototype done and the robe itself needs a few tweaks here and there but came out pretty good. However the “white” El wire I ordered is very blue in tint and a little disappointing in the glow area as well, the pictures make it look like it’s glowing pretty good but in fact isn’t that bright at all.

I did come across an alternative light source a few days ago that was my back up plan and I think it’s going to work out better so I’ll keep you posted.

I looks blue because of the way white light is processed by the human brain But that looks amazing

I've been on the fence about getting started with this line. I'd hate to buy the Kevin Flynn figure if I couldn't at least get a Quorra and a regular version of Sam.

That is what's scary about collecting Hot Toys. Will this line turn out like The Watchmen or will it continue past the first two?

The robe has needs white liner for the back & arms though,
but if Spenser has something in mind already, I can't wait to see it!

I wouldn't mind if we only get Kevin and Sam/Bike, they alone are already better looking figures than the HT Watchmen
But I'd love if they did CLU, Quorra and Rinzzler

I never really pick up any Hot Toys stuff, I only own DX Batman and DX Joker, but after thinking about this for a while I've pre-ordered this guy hope he looks as good as the other photos knocking around for him.

well the only way we can increase the chance is if we all buy multiples of anything Tron coming out so they rack in huge profit and then keep on going

Haha I like this comment, sadly I'm not made of Hot Toys if I was I'd be more posable and extremely detailed.

See that looks too awesome! I believe the disc is 8.5inches in diameter which is 21.59cm the width of the case is 22cm hopefully it will fit, once I get the disc which is on its way to me I'll try it in one of those cases I already have I'll take out my DX Joker and DX Batman which hold my current one to test, as I have another DID case on order.

I may well do a test and post a pic before I get Flynn, I'm very hopefully the disc will slide into the case unless anyone can advise the actual diameter of the disc which I believe is 8.5 inches.

I believe when I get Flynn even though the disc is white I'll probably put him in his black outfit.

How much is he charging? According to the RPF thread it'll come with detailed instructions, all hardware and pieces for $75. If I can get my hands on a CLU disc, I might have to bite at it.
