I just saw the film on Tueday night at an advance IMAX screening, and just as I feared........Kevin's disc changes color from white to black when he changes his outfit. Yikes.......! I guess he has to color coordinate.

On a side note......the movie is friggin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LUCKY!!! I have to wait until the gf comes back to town from college to go see it. Why couldn't she be done with finals already like I am!!

But I will be seeing it in IMAX 3D and can't wait!!!

My gf didn't really like the idea of going at midnight, and majority of my mates are low on cash, have work early in the morning, so I am kinda going on my own, but that means I can focus on the movie better

I just got back now, I am still in awe of it.... The look, the feel, it's all there from the original, but modernized I will see it 2, maybe 3 times I think , and my budget for the next year is gone...

P.S. I now have an almost schoolboy crush on Quorra, just the idea of her

can't wait to see it! I'm downloading the BD original Tron now b/c I can't believe I don't own it! sure that they'll release a better version with goodies when Legacy comes out on DVD/BD

I only saw the original about a month or two ago, but it was an instant fave in my head, and I am waiting for the BD aswell

Same here! I saw it was back in highschool in computer science class. I vaguely remember it but now that I've watched it again, it's great to see the continuity between the original and the new one. Man I sooo need to see this movie asap!

Oh and here's my 1:1 Identity Disc patiently waiting for HT to release Kevin and Sam Flynn and hopefully Clu and Quora To display right next to it!

The disc is the Spin Master Sam Flynn Deluxe available at Target, Walmart etc.

That disc is not 1:1. Its actually smaller than the original. According to Rickprops on the RPF (the maker of the prop) the original hero discs were right about 9.25 inches give or take without the outer blade. The Spin Master is 8.5 inches without the outer blade. Still a cool replica, but just too small. Sideshow is releasing a full size off the original moulds soon!

Also some info for those that are interested. In the film there were multiple size discs used for various scenes and characters. Hero discs were the 9.25, background/ walking discs were from 9.25- 11 inches without the outer blade, and the stunt versions were 11- 12 inches without the blade. Each length disc also had different levels of finishing. Some discs had the outer/ inner rings painted, while others would light up. Some disc bodies were a two tone black scheme, while some were an opaque black body with a satin sheen. Just some info for those who dig the discs like I do.
