Not to put a damper on the excitement for this, but this release seems very redundant now considering all of the others have been long sold out and very hard to come by now.

It'd be like releasing Hawkeye years after the rest of Avengers have sold out and become too rare to obtain.

People who don't have any of the others would likely skip this because it doesn't make sense without them

It's great that they're doing her but this is probably the worst timing ever for a figure release in relation to the rest of the line, fans waiting time and likely profit margin.

That's a very good point, Nova. I only started collecting RE figures last year, so the only figure that I have to keep Ada company is Battle Suit Jill Valentine. I'm sure that Hot Toys is planning to (re)release some of the older figures - Leon is pretty much a given.

While that is true in the casual collectors sense, theres a few reasons i will disagree. Ada is not an re4 specific character. She is very vital to the over all franchise and has been there through many key events. So her re4 look aside she is hardly a "Hawkeye". The re 4 game itself basically had its own Ada game in it as she herself had 5 missions and an extra one on top of that. So that would warrant a figure alone. Infact, by her very nature she is a loner and doesnt hang around anybody else. So to see her teamed up with a bunch of figures in a power ranger pose would make her look really out of character

... And this is the first of the HD line. It just so happens to be an RE4 figure. We dont know what is to come next. Maybe even a Leon 2.0 as he is really popular.

Why do you hate preordering Kiva?

You spend your money 9 months in advance, when you could have a figure in your possession for 9 months then sell it on when the time is right. it also costs more to order from an official website than it does to import it. Said official websites dont even get the figure in for atleast a month after HK get it and i could have it on my shelves for cheaper and faster!

If you use the sniper (or not) and zoom in on each Merchant's eyes, some Merchants are infected with Plagas (glowing red) and some aren't (normal blue).

Her bottom lip seems a bit big and her nose is a bit round for my liking. Hair and eyes are perfect. So i can live with it! I am curious if her ankle joints are the same as Baby dolls though. I hope they are, as id like to use a set of babydoll feet on the figure and buy a pair of punts for an RE2 ada custom

I agree, she is very flat in that regard, but I think it's more a fantastical representation of modern beauty than anything else. :/

Though the expression isn't the best, I think she looks perfect. Excellent head sculpt. No complaints here aside from that expression.

She's a little tanned in RE4 but it's almost hard to notice, she's not that white looking. Although if this came out "as is" I will still be very happy with it.

And yes a small smirk would make this headsculpt amazing.

I love the Ada love Krec. To be honest, RE6 Ada might be my favorite version of her yet. She's still wearing clothes that aren't befitting of her job, but she's got that sexy Hollywood movie merc look, y'know what I mean? At least it's more logical than dresses.
