On another note, it's kind of disappointing that you can't really pose this figure any differently than the Medicom release. Have to agree with Ryan's assessment, too - the figure's too light, and the small parts seem like they can snap off very easily. I usually have several figures at a time rotated on occasion with display cases, but I think I'll keep Raiden in his box indefinitely until I get a more stable display area.

I love the figure, it's easily the most accurate stock-Metal Gear figure ever made & quite phenomenal in person. I just wished it wasn't made out of cheap Gundam parts.

I also tried posing him and I feel like I'm trying to diffuse a bomb, it looks like anything could break on this guy.

And yes, I understand that addressing those nitpicks it will raise the cost tremendously, so with that I've now made peace that this is a figure is the only figure in my collection that I'll never be messing with again. :lol

Funny you should say that, it's about as light as a PG Gundam figure :lol. Overall, I'm just glad that I'm one of the very fortunate people here who've had zero issues with this seemingly problematic figure. While it looks great in person, HT really should've spent more time testing out the quality control.

I really dont feel like the figure is as fragile as youre making it out to be. All the joints feel sturdy on mine except the elbows were garbage until i fixed them and the closed visor placement is dumb so ill never be using it. I had a spike fall off but once glued they stay on for good. I also dont like the elbow swivel joint but its not a total bummer.

Yeah it's weird. All of the other joints are great and sturdy and can stand unaided even with those heels.... but the elbows... gah.

Biojex, its easy. Just make sure they dont want it back before you operate.

I forgot about the ankles. Yeah, those clicks should have been much tighter but they arent bad when you use a stand. Ive been meaning to buy a dynamic one from hot toys, i just sold my killzone figure so maybe ill use the monies from that to get the stand and a decal from evilface. I wish to god someone would come through with a metal boss bdu figure, its pissing me off at this point that no one has one to at least OFFER me yet. I need that biotch.

Picked up this figure yesterday for $200 with free shipping. Felt like at that price it was worth the risk. Gorgeous figure, crazy detail, looks awesome even in the museum pose. Elbows and joints were fine on mine but are very tight. The weight doesn't bother me and he wasn't as light as I was expecting. The figure does feel very fragile and I am afraid I am going to break something just handling it (the hair especially). Overall very nice looking and perfect figure for the museum pose option I guess.

Just got mine after a few months of hardship. Unexpected rise in the price that was insane. Anyways, some things that bother me the most would be the head/neck articulation, and no bicep swivels. God damn it. Also this is kinda like buying an old Medicom fig. Fragile as a mudda ***kaaaaa. Will post up some iPhone shots soon.

Where did you bought yours? The price is higher due to GST.

GST along with the currency exchange. Bought from a friend in Amcorp lol

Not sure! Still looking! I was thinking Cheras Oasis but despite the luxury gated community, once you step outside the place looks like a ghetto area! PM me if you know a good place, I need one a.s.a.p! :gah:

I need some damn space. Just mixing my VG lines now.

Left side reserved for inferno... back on the search. Seems to be going for around $280 atm.

Sweet shot of Raiden. I wish in person he was the colour he comes across in pictures where the flash is on
