Yes, they do. There was a teaser with the MGS V title a while back. No news since then, though.

this doesn't end up as just another tease that goes nowhere. My G.I. Joe Shelf need Big Boss to come lead them!

We could be in for a long wait. The RE 6 license was teased before but there hasn't been any news about figures, either.

The only hope I think this has over RE6, is that MGSV is going to sell like crazy. It's only real competition as far as sales this year is maybe Arkham Knight(which will be hurt by being only on newer gen). Plus is RE still popular overseas? I know MGS is, but I feel like RE has lost a lot of steam since 4.

I too feel like it was delayed due to the less than stellar reception of the game, which would be ashame as it had awesome character design. It's also weird since we had a teaser of what looked to be completed figures.

MGSV is definetky gonna happen, it's gonna be two years before preorder I bet

I quite agree its depend with reception of game/movie. Lone ranger and prometheus are unofficially cancelled because poor reception of movie. Same as RE6, quite flop

I'm not saying MGR didn't sell well. I loved the game, and have been excited for this release for a while now. But MGSV is going to have stupid sales numbers. Lets be honest the only games that may outsell it are COD(a yearly release) and Madden(yearly release). And it has the potential to outsell them. I would not be surprised to see it put up GTAV levels of sales.

They waited too long to release it, it's a dead line I'm afraid. As much as I love Wolverine, it would be nice to get figures aside from him from the newer films.

I think MGSV is a different case. PS4 has sold like crazy and there's a serious lack of games right now.

MGSV is open world and you know how people love those, regardless of quality lol.

I'd say MGSV will at least do Arkham Knight numbers. Neither are quite the beasts that Fifa, COD or GTA. But nothing is, they play to the general public, they are the Katy Perry of Videogames

MGS is not a staple household franchise, it is very popular and up there but i doubt it will reach Arkham Knight numbers, not to say it wont kill it because it obviously will

MGS4 was on 1 console while GTAIV was on both. MGSV is going to be on all 4 consoles. It will do some pretty big numbers.

Someone on MFC emailed HT, and they said there's no news. I think they confirmed that Shery won't be made. There is a larger version of the original scan though

I seriously doubt MGSV will sell in Arkham Knight numbers, let alone GTAV. If anything, I see Arkham Knight might be the best selling game this year, it's frikkin' Batman.
