All of HT's katanas have been metal... but not sure about this one since it's red and his HF blade isn't exactly a katana.

Yeah I really hope BOTH or at least one is metal. But not a deal breaker for me if its plastic.

HT usually says ahead of time if something is metal I think, like with Thor's hammer, Wolverine's claws and so on. The katana thing is true though, but still, there's been nothing saying this would be a metal blade. Kills some of the value too
