'"Fugly" is harsh, they may not be your cup of tea, but the brand has earned its place in the collecting community.

Minimates have been around for more than 10 years, Diamond Select/Art Asylum has produced over a thousand of them so far, and there's no end to the line in sight. At specialty stores alone, there have been 59 dedicated waves of Marvel Minimates, and a good 25 waves exclusive to Toys R Us.

For what it's worth, the images shown for solicitation are never the final product. They often come with multiple accessories and alternate parts, and they are completely interchangeable within the brand. Pick up a pack sometime, they retail for around $8.00 a 2-pack, I think you'll be surprised at how cool they actually are in-hand.

I believe a lot of the problem lies with Dis/Marv having to Co-okay product with them. Too bad, cause just another movie well never see any cool Lego sets from.

I wonder what it is about MCU movies vs. the X-Men when it comes to HT. We got the full Avengers line-up, SIX Winter Soldier figures, a ton of Iron Man, several Thors/Lokis and yet when it comes to X-Men not even superstars like Fassbender or Lawrence can get them to go beyond Wolverine. I'd love DOFP to get some love, particular 70's/Future Wolverine, Magneto, Mystique, Blink and Quicksilver.

I think it must be down to the un-exciting X-men costumes, lack of faith in the demand for X-men figures or just Fox not approving of the figures/license issues.

Everyone wants Magneto, so naturally Hot Toys will make.........Bishop. After underwhelming sales they will declare it a failure and abandon the license

I must be one of the only people who thought the future Wolverine costume was cool looking. I'd considering buying a future Wolverine if they make one. I haven't bought a Wolverine figure yet because I didn't care much for the others Hot Toys made.

I agree. Remember Disney owns Marvel now. So anything associated with Disney is going to get great marketing. Maleficent will get a figure, and Star Wars has gotten a few.

I'm not too sure about a Wolverine from DOFP, especially with The Last Stand and The Wolverine (Origins too which is pretty similar to his general outfit from this movie) but I want Mystique (1/6 Jennifer Lawrence dream come true), Magneto and Xavier of some kind. Young and old would be great too, and Beast would be cool as well.

It's a shame his armor doesn't get much screen time.

I liked it, it really was a good progression from First Class (if you have seen that). And there was a good balance of showcasing characters, which was good considering there was like 30 different actors

He wasn't in the movie a lot at all but the one scene Quicksilver was in was badass. I'd like to see a figure for him. But thinking we will only see a wolverine for this license unless HT wants to do as good as they have done on winter soldier and IM3 quantity wise.
