QuickSilver figure is at the top of my list.

I have a good feeling we'll be seeing something from this franchise announced soon.

Your the only that does :lol I hope your right tho

Yeah, as with several others in this film, the QS outfit wasn't great, though I did like the character quite a bit. The only ones I can see myself honestly potentially buying from this film would be past Mags, past Xavier in wheelchair, and past Wolverine.

I don't really buy my figures based on how cool their costumes are, but how accurate it is the real thing.

I think the new Spider-Man figure looks cool, and I liked the movie, but the suit is a bad representation of Spidey's suit in the movie, so I won't be buying it.

As long as they nail QS's likeness, then I'll buy him, he was a great character in the movie in my opinion.

For me, with comic characters, one of the most important factors is how important a character is in the grand scheme of things. Quicksilver is a secondary Avenger, and member of the Inhumans as I think of him. I don't have a place for a guy like that in my collection. But Magneto and Prof. X are heavy hitters any way you look at it.

But realistically, that Quicksilver is never going to happen as a Hot Toys figure anyway, so it's just wishful thinking unless you want to spearhead a custom project.

Thats probably true :lol

And HT reached this same conclusion :rotfl

That's the sad thing. It's unlikely there'll be an figures from this amazing movie chock full of beloved characters with so much possibilities but it's a dead cert there'll be GOTG figures and fricken Ant-Man even if one of them ends up being the next Batman and Robin .

I'm looking forward to GOTG but X-Men is fricken X-Men!!!! And gets no love from HT

I'd rather have the interesting GOTG designs than 70's clothes actors of the X-men film. Magneto is the only one I'd consider

I think that also feeds into HT's decision making process a bit. When they do off the wall stuff, it's often interesting looking off the wall stuff. Howard said in an interview that he wouldn't really consider Leo DiCaprio in a suit, even from a pretty good movie, because folks aren't interested in buying boring looking characters in suits for the most part (obviously there are a few exceptions like Coulson).

Don't worry, we'll get a Quicksilver figure in the Age of Ultron line ;)

You've gotta blame Wolverine sales, then. If he sold like Iron Man did, then we would be getting Sunspot, Toad, etc.

Being the only Xmen character released there is truth behind that statement. HT saw Origins after retail prices escalate then decided to give us two average follow ups and here we sit.....

Yep, I would put money on it. And frankly, I'm skeptical of whether that version of Quicksilver will be nearly as likable, even if he is more comic accurate (would be hard not to be more comic accurate than the version from DOFP :D ).

Wolverine sales can't determine sales of other characters imo. It can for other Wolverine movie character but not other franchise characters from other movies.

Not only because it's another character but they've done three of them so their consumer base likely already has one and isn't inclined to buy a second or third so that doesn't give clear indication of interest in a new, different character.

Also they have new versions of figures still in-stock so their is more to it than sales of individual figures that determine line depth
